This DR01s is nice, functions very well, has a great design and the instruments sound good, but it needs a higher quality speaker with more powerful amplification for some of the lower frequency instruments such as kick drum and Cajon to have better projection. Several small bluetooth speakers sound much better in bass response. I usually plug a portable jbl or tribit speaker into the aux out for a much fuller & better sound in stereo. Also, would be good to have included a 1/4" -20 threaded hole in the bottom, for mounting on a tripod stand during a live performance.

I have a question regarding the Boss DR-01S. I have the count-in programmed. I want to have a break (using a footswitch pedal). When I re-enter the rhythm (by footswitch) the count-in comes on again. I don't want this, I just just want the rhythm to resume.

I just got my rhythm partner and LOVE it. I would be great fun if you could recommend some drum patterns for calypso, country, rock….. I find it hard to match a pattern to a song. Do you know of any lists of drum patterns? Thanks in advance for your help. Peggy

No, I never could locate a list of patterns. It would be so helpful to have one! I love the drum machine though. It helps me keep the beat because I tend to speed up when playing! Let me know if you ever locate one. @@mballard1000

Vol on tambourine not on rest is good
