Quick question ! 有嚼勁 can be meant for both positive and negative connotation or mainly negative? In English, "tough" meat is definitely not a good thing but "chewy" can be used for positive things...

中国人用「名词」形容一种感觉，就用这个「名词」的东西去想象就可以了。只有「干」树木，才可以成为「柴」。柴的感觉，就是干。具体某些应该有水分的食物。没有水分或者油脂。或者还会有一些不好咀嚼才叫「柴」。而Q，并不是QQ，而是台湾用语「Q弹」的简称。有弹性的食物，都可以形容为「Q弹」，简称「Q」
