Thank you for expressing that. Can you say anything on how you began to recover, and whether sometimes you are still 'attracted' to that mindset?

Hey, thanks for the comment. You'll find some of my journey in my other videos where I explain how I came across meditation, then discovered yoga and then eventually shamanism, all of which played a role in helping me find my centre and heal. I have moved well beyond this mindset. I struggle now to remember how it felt. I see what I suffered in this time as a misunderstood spiritual truth. I believed that I was everything, it was the opposite of the truth that everything is me. It was a necessary step (for me) in understanding the oneness of everything.

There's a science fiction novel called Blindsight that centers on a group of late 21st century astronauts who investigate a propagating alien spacecraft outside of our solar system. When they enter the ship a few crew members begin experiencing Cotard's delusion. I hadn't heard of it until then, and now this video is recommended to me. Very fascinating psychological phenomenon but sorry you had to endure it.

Oh wow, that is pretty random, it’s got such little awareness about it that even when I suffered from it I didn’t know it was a condition. If you’re interested in hearing more, I have a longer video on my KZbin where I talk about it 🙏🏻
