I’ve been a subscriber for two years and the comments section used to be so full of positivity and love and everyone could say their opinion and interact with others respectfully. But now there’s so much hate... if you don’t like someone’s attitude you have the right to call them out, specially if you think it will help them somehow, but there’s a very thin line between what should and shouldn’t be said and that line shouldn’t be crossed. Although we think we know a lot about someone’s life and personality, what we see are calculated or semi-calculated actions and words of a person in front of a camera. We don’t follow them 24 hours a day to see how they act unconsciously etc. But some people think they can define someone by watching their videos. Not even 10000 videos could give you a full perspective of what a person is and isn’t,even if they try to be as natural and honest as possible. That’s actually a good thing because it’s the beauty of relationships! Discovering the other person. Basically: if you think you’re entitled to spread such negativity on someone’s channel without taking into consideration your own flaws and lack of knowledge, then let me tell you: you AREN’T. By the way, I’m not even standing up for her specifically. I don’t feel as... comfortable? watching her videos as I did a while ago. And I left a comment on her “my wife is in jail” video because I found some things a bit disturbing. But I’m 100% sure I can sleep at night with a clean conscience that I did not hurt julia and Eileen’s feelings by posting a hurtful and disrespectful comment, I can guarantee you that. I’m so sorry for this long rant haha I just felt really sad after seeing so many straight up mean people in the comments. Don’t think it’s okay to say those extreme things just because you’re on the Internet.
