Wow, Joy is great. She is a woman of many talents indeed. The first and last time I cut my husbands hair, he had to go to the barber afterwards (he got a shave as there was no saving his hair). I'll show him this video. Perhaps he will give me another go at it.

This was a really interesting topic and a very informative conversation! I’m someone who spends a lot of time on social media, but have been trying to lessen the amount due to the affect it’s had on my mental health (lots of fomo). Never really thought about how my data was being used , kinda fearful now 😩 Anyways, you guys seem really grounded and bright, would love to see more of these types of discussions on different or similar topics in the future!💗

Joy I so believe that both of you are talking to me and conversing on exactly what I am thinking a lot......I believe its a case of balance but I am in the mind set that people do become a little less personable with each other with social media/digital usage and Elliott point of meeting and talking to people is more important in this day and age... I agree for the most part that social media (in particular Instagram) aren’t truly connecting us, but I do like how it’s this infinite fountain of inspiration and ‘new worlds.’ When used in moderation, it can open you up to a lot of beautiful things. But the threat of it being destructive and overwhelming seems to be a lot greater than its potential benefits, unfortunately.

I watched The Great Hack, but under not very idea circumstances at my brother's - and, if you think that is scary, you haven't been introduced to Shoshana Zuboff yet. Hahaha. I don’t like barbershop banter. It’s so much gossip esp in the Caribbean. I sometimes cut my husband’s hair too. Nice to see you guys again. And I feel the same about Instagram and fbk. It’s too much fake and the captions on photos that have nothing to do with their photos..lol. Ridiculous. To upload daily on an app to get validation from complete strangers is just utter rubbish and depressing in my view unless it’s showing vacay spots minus you in it. Lol. I’m more of a farming app kinda gal. Lol @ Elliot in the end. Btw the haircut turned out great !
