In a Martin Walls's tweet, he mention that he did the design for the organ that plays in the Battington's chritsmas special. Also in Boozoo's Ghosts, where is a showcase in black and white of kids with toys, appears Tammy and Ducky, and Tammy was holding a Henry marionette from Battington's videos. So... I guess they are referencing each other. Or maybe... Battington's and Martin Walls's videos are in the dame universe. Well... It's just a theory.

Why are the uncles always the best in these series? Henry was probably a better father to Michael Elizabeth and BV, and same with Arthur being a better dad to Thomas, Ava and Sophia.

But here's the thing, When she sees the distorted version of the father, Sophia doesn't show to have an increase in fear. She simply says "daddy?", Showing that the dad is more of a protective figure than the mom or uncle Arthur. Sophia denied the mangled version of her mother to actually be her mother and she has an increase in fear, meaning she doesn't have much trust in the mother than she does the father.

I really like how Martin recycled unused concepts from the game for the series, even if it's for a non-canon episode. [It remides me a lot of Sonic Mania's development. When coming up for the brand new zones for the game, they took a look at a lot of the concepts for zones and cut zones from previous titles. The most obvious one being Mirage Saloon being a recycled version of Dust Hill from Sonic 2 and Dessert Dazzle from Sonic CD.] Seriously, I love it when unused content comes back in some form. Also I never noticed that picture of the car and the two red figures. Seriously, that's one sharp purple eye of yours. As for Battington, I never noticed the fact that the dead baby was in a gift box. Talk about one crappy Christmas gift... Also interesting theory with the spooky goat text and how it shows the order in which they die in. Defenitly a small but cool detail.

I'm fond of when a concept that was handled poorly at first gets a second chance, and done properly. I think all ideas are capable of being good... they just need to be handled well. And yup, details are what I do. The picture on the wall of the house was the first thing that I noticed in my check, mainly because of the two red figures and I was like "oh wait, we just saw those two in the last trailer!"

I think that photo scene in 8:03 is actually one of the scariest moments in the video, because it's simple, yet effective at showing the audience another hint that Tammy and Ducky really shouldn't have gone into the house. The number of jack-o-lanterns seems to correlate with the number of missing children, too. We see four in the beginning, at which point the past four years have ended with a child going missing. When they enter the house, we see another jack-o-lantern in the living room. Later the night when Duckie and Tammie stay the night in that exact room, Duckie goes missing first, thus being represented by the fifth pumpkin. Then it ends with Tammie being murdered (and seemingly skinned?) with her head resembling the pumpkin.

Little theory: what happened in two front teeth is someone wished death upon Martin’s family on christmas, which caused krampus to come over and kill (or capture) them all. The Mysterious House bit? Because that's been anticipated for two months haha. Or if you mean both of them, as I pretty much heavily hinted that My Two Front Teeth had 'inspired' me, then... tada! :D It usually takes me around a week from the original video's upload for me to do my own vid on it.

What I think is interesting about both The Mysterious House and Boozoo’s Ghosts (which I know isn’t covered in this video) is that the equivalents of Bon (Both The Pumpkin Rabbit and Mortality) is portrayed as the ultimate villain, with the equivalents of Sha and Billy both being portrayed as sub/secondary villains. While I know these stories are not canon to the main story, but rather shows within the show’s universe, I feel like this is sorta a clue how Bon is an actual aggressive entity, which we know from the main set of videos. However I think this is further evidence of Jack being not in control of Bon. I think the two fight for control though, and we can see that with the end of the first video, where Bon is twitching and his hand at his face. I honestly believe that Jack is often used by Bon to lure people in, with what happened to Rosy, hell Bon could’ve been the one talking to Sophie in this more aggressive voice from Lucky You.

Fun fact: At one point in TMH, Witch Sheep (I think) was going to read the two a bedtime story which features a cat corpse. This was removed because Martin wasn’t comfortable with including an animal corpse in his work. TV-8 also had some unused sprites which made him have a bigger presence than in the final product.
