Rewatched this video today (after my comment from 3 years ago!), and it's a great piece of work. Thank you very much, Sven. I've been retrying tremolo chords and am finally making progress, and agree that it's a fundamental technique that really helps with the right hand wrist. Thanks again and best wishes.

Thanks for sharing your own experience with that Sven. Indeed one of the hardest techniques to master properly

I must say Sven, your honesty and generosity is really commendable. This stuff that you share is priceless not just for its value to guitar players but as an example of humanity. Thank you!

Super video! And amen to the notion of approaching speed from both sides -- high and low. From piano, I can say that working at high speed is good to find mechanics, and then after that working at low speed to work consciously on what you've found, is great. I'm still working on it with guitar. Cheers and thank you! z

Sven saying "shit" and "fuck" is a welcome departure from his typically PG lessons. Gritty gypsy lessons, hell yeah

Have you made any videos about guitars and plectrums?

Yes, why not. I notice there is some interest in gear questions on KZbin! I'm not a gear maniac, means I don't know a lot about wood and stuff, but I could tell something about the best guitars concerning price/quality, amplification and picks.

When you play scales with tremolo do you use alternate picking while changing strings?
@SvenJungbeck
@SvenJungbeck 2 жыл бұрын
Whenever possible, yes. Sometimes it's one or three notes per String, then it's not working and you kind of sweep or play down up down, down up down

@@SvenJungbeck THx for the answer. I have another question. How do you pick while playing fast scales (three notes per string)? Do you use alternate picking = down, up, down, (next string)up, down, up, (next string) down, up, down, etc. or economy picking = down, up, down (sweep to next string) down, up, down etc.?

Was meinst Du? Danke im Voraus!!! Paco Perima/g v.grüsse!
