Thanks for watching Rob. I suppose it’s a compliment that 2nd hand Ecotech equipment is so popular. I have far more ecotech 2nd hand than brand new kit 🤷‍♂️

PS Even before the current inflation - Echoteh prices still went up.

There prices have gone up but so have a lot Of other things across both our hobby and in general. The good thing is we don’t have to buy Ecotech as there are other brands out there although despite trying a few I still believe ecotech has been the best for me, since starting a tank just over 10 years ago 🤷‍♂️

I bought orphek natura icons just because everyone uses radions.

Orphek were really popular in uk a few years back but don’t see many reefers using them. I totally get where you are coming from in trying something different. I like the Phillips coral care but big ole units and don’t really go with the tanks I currently have

@@fishpalace if I could share pics of these lights on here I would, they have such a natural spectrum. I'm not a fan of the drowned out blue spectrum. And I agree, the Philips coral care spectrum looks so good!

@@Pontiuspilate666 I agree. I am not a lover of deep blue other than at end of day and prefer a whiter light as you can see the true colour of your fish and a more natural colour of your corals.

They makr great products. But prices never go down. Every other tech goes down after a time. Ecotech goes up. Selling to Aperture was bad for the hobby.

I agree they do make great products and prices reflect that. Why do you think it is a bad thing as there is plenty of competition out there?
