Hey Jason, Thanks for doing this video, I hope it helps someone, somewhere. My son is 23 now, and Autism is what made him different, school was tough, there was always a bully, year after year, everywhere we went. I heard someone say recently, they thought the moral core of people was changing. I think this was about America in the context, but it could be bigger than that. The throw away society maybe starting to throw away people. Hey, what do I know, just another guitar nerd talking out his ass because it hits close to home.

@@JasonMcNamara Hey Jason check this out, I think it was 10th grade when my son got in a fight with one of current bullies, he ended up being to blame, and had to serve 11 weeks in juvenile hall. That was truly heartbreaking, and then they sent me the bill.

It really suck how that happens more often than not. Bad people in this world seem to get away with a lot. However life and karma do seem to catch up with them in one way or another eventually. I hope your son is doing ok today.

Awesome Interview Jason Man! knowing your interviewee's personally or just meeting them, you make them all feel so comfortable that the end result is a product of passion from within their Soul shared with the viewers! The ONE thing that I loved was Cassidy telling her Dad , Steve, that "He Was STILL Cool"...Very touching! Listen up Mate....YOU don't have to hang out with Famous People To Stand Out....YOU do that with The Common Folk and Your Fans! I myself have no problem telling a Bully to FUCK OFF and saying it Right Up In Their Grill. Bully's are true Cowards when all is said and done. Such a good interview: I myself was bullied at school and it left a deep effect on me for years, supressing my inventive and expressive nature. It wasn't until I had reached my fortieth year that I decided to try to do something with my life and I ultimately became an author, something I would never have dared to do previously even though it had always been my greatest love. One of the books I wrote was, interestingly, about a school girl who was bullied, and she harboured a wish to become a rock star. She ultimately wrote an anti-bullying anthem that got her noticed, and this song I actually co-wrote with a guitarist friend of mine and it was played on the BBC radio a couple of times, and I subsequently used the song as part of my talk to schoolkids when I took part in an anti-bullying series of talks at schools in 2018 and 2019. This interview about Cassidy's situation was scaringly close to the story I wrote, I just had to listen to the whole thing!
