@fire_titan5735 Was not a sacking, was mutually agreed apparently. Not sure if you noticed but West Coast has never changed coaches mid season, thought that Simmo deserved a little more respect.

@@seanchristie7150 he literally just said in this interview he wanted to keep coaching. He was sacked plain and simple. The fact wce has never had to drop a coach mid season is all the more proof he was sacked. No one "deserves respect" when being sacked. This isn't a retirement it's sacking.. big difference. Sounds like you support simmo more than the club. If so have fun at your new club next year

@fire_titan5735 30 yr member so I doubt that, all Simmo and the club has said was it was a mutual decision so I don't quite know where you are hearing he was sacked. Clearly you are not a club man

All Class ! You can see he still loves the club, and is so grateful for the journey they have given him. He said in his first Press Conference, Its a well run club use to success, and he delivered. The club owes him so much gratitude for the 2018 Premiership because they are not easy to win and even harder from Perth. He will in the future be a legend of the club. We are a respected football club due to his leadership and the fans cannot thank him enough.

Well done on 11 years of effort Adam. All the best. Reality is since 2019s semi failure we have been unacceptable. Our entitled culture & lack of accountability for huge coined senior players & staff has been pathetic & insulting to the fan base. There are very very very good reasons for Simos sacking. He played the supporters for sympathy yet was on mega bucks & did sfa for 5 years( not forgetting many issues preceded the 18GF). He needed the boot 👢.... Simos good at milking the sympathy of his Vic buds... Adam is not a strong coach, thats why Senior players & himself have been able to feast from the WC cash trough for 5 years without delivering sfa. Cya Simo.

I am grateful for Simpsons time at WC but the thing I don't agree with him, and he keeps saying it, it the young players aernt ready... Theyre so young... Throw em in the deep end mate, thats what a rebuild is. He comes across as too scared to want to rebuild and continues this year with Darling, Gaff and Sheed... That was his downfall. I say that with respect for him, but in saying that, I respect the good of my club far far more than any one person. It was time and I wish he knew that 2-3 years ago, because its wasted time now and the list is absolutely screwed. If we had started the rebuild two years ago when we should have... It would be better. Absolutely cant stand Caroline Wilson however she absolutely hit the nail on the head... He is a good coach, but he isn't a development coach. I really hope to see Simpson find a new senior coaching role and get success there. This was just the wrong role for him in the final few years and sometimes you cant see it at the time...
