How does Alvarez's sharp break angle affect string feel? They use the two tier saddle and also the headstock is pitched back farther. I really like the brand. The only problem is you can't play anything in stores anymore.

Every time I hear an Alvarez MD60BG's I A) regret selling mine to finance half of a maybe 5% better D-18, and am astonished that anyone can make a guitar that good for less that 700 bucks.

Thanks for posting sir. Do you mind if I ask what strings your using and where you ha e the action set? I've been through 4 sets of strings on mine...Liking Martin monel lights the best. Thinking I need to go to medium. Again. Thanks for putting out your videos, I really enjoy them.

The Zager isn't all solid. The only one of their models that might be all solid is the most expensive one. Also they aren't made in the US like they imply. The Inspired by Gibson Epis look awesome

Hi Delvin. Great videos. Not sure of recording process, but the natural sound of an acoustic come across really good compared to others. I have a Alvarez mf60ce that inspires me more then any guitar I own. I have a Taylor 310 and 810. The 810 is beautiful, but I love the sound of Mahogany, or "Sapelie " in the case of the 310. Isn't "African Mahogany " another word for "Sapelie "? My 310 from 1993 has been by far my favorite, but I like the sound of my OM Alverez better. I'm gonna pick up the dreadnaught this week. Yours was "mistakingly made with Adirondack??? And no pickguard? I could only be so lucky to have such misfortune from the factory! Im woundering where,and how you got it, if you don't mind. Sounds and looks like a gem!! If you ever want to part with it to someone who will appreciate it...🤣

P.s. Blue railroad train is my all time favorite Rice song. Great choice and REALLY well executed

African mahogany is often sipo. It specs out pretty close to SA mahogany with a bit more high end. I have a new Guild D20 and I love the full tone on an all hog guitar.
@kurtdavidson98082 жыл бұрын
Can you tell me how I can learn to play like that on my own. Can afford Lesons? Stupid question right? I know. I can’t imagine playing like you play . God bless you
@architypeone8646 Жыл бұрын
Nice playing! I don't think you can beat the value you get with this guitar. It is a lot of guitar for the money. I think if you play it up against any guitar that is 4 or 5 times more expensive and you would be hard pressed to tell that big of a difference in tone. Even if you own an expensive guitar this one would be a great instrument to take camping or in conditions that might make you nervous about damaging your prized guitar.

@@lucascruzguitar What do you think about the build quality of this guitar? I'm in doubt between this guitar and a Recording King RD-318, but I've heard of construction flaws on both guitars.
@lucascruzguitar3 жыл бұрын
They are really good considering the price, of course they are not that of a Martin but they are great guitars. This one I have is one of a kind it was mistakenly built with a Adirondack top
@HiggaionSelah_EWFMGАй бұрын
mehh!? finish flaws? Not everything is gunna be perfect for under $1k however that said I own both these guitars brand new and both came without flaws perfect ; the RD-328 not bad at all ; the Alvarez EBG blows the RK away however its a bigger guitars with a more select wood choice in my opinion , however built better? Definitely 👍
