Saw her troupes performance she had choreographed the whole n she presented the whole ....it was fantastic....they did the history of life fusion of yoga n kalaripayittu n bharat natyam......it was 3 hours of magic....fascinating lady ....

I knew her when I was a child and she was very young. She became friends with my mother and would spend hours at our home. We were also new in Madras and the two became close friends during the short time we were there. Once she dressed my mother in a beautiful Bharatnatyam costume and had her pose perfectly for some pictures. Those black and white photos I still have today. What a radiant, talented person she was!
