Did this piece or "Conduit: I. Touch" on the Hand Eye record come first? I'm a masters student in composition and have been recently become very interested in your music by way of Conduit. Really enjoying hearing how it has transferred from one to the other!

Cullyn Murphy hey great question! Conduit came first. At one of the rehearsals 8bb was practicing just the string parts and I really liked how they sounded by themselves, so I pretty much used the string parts for 'touch' from conduit as the final movement to this piece. There are some modifications, of course: orchestration and then the end gets expanded a bit so it works better as a final movement (as opposed to touch, which is a first movement)
