"Talking MEWShop" Episode 4 features Editor Joe Schuck , along with Manhattan Edit Workshop Founder Josh Apter, President Jason Banke, and Raphi Salem of Salem Global.
Joe Schuck is not only a Six Week Intensive Workshop alumni, but he is also a successful Editor in the reality TV industry. In this episode Joe talks with the team about his journey into the industry, taking the Six Week class and pivoting several times in his career even with paycuts to eventually get where he is today.
Joe Schuck is a reality television editor with over a decades worth of credits and a Manhattan Edit Workshop Alumn of 2008. Starting as a baseball highlights editor at MLB.Com, Joe found time to work as an editing trainer at MEWShop after he finished the Six Week Intensive. After some time and many editing side hustles, he met a contact who introduced him to a small reality TV production company that eventually created the Discovery Channel hit show "Alaskan Bush People." Beginning as an Assistant Editor, he worked on several shows and eventually moved up to lead editor. Since then, Joe has worked on projects for Discovery Channel, HGTV, Lifetime, and for the last six years has been working on the "90 Day Fiance" franchise for TLC.
