So it's grand for the Irish horses to come to the UK for the KG over XMas, Cheltenham festival, Aintree festival and every other race meeting over a season but the travelling is a problem for the UK horses to go the other way for a weekend like the DRF. The mind boggles. Paul Nicholls the only man who is up for it and has had fine success in doing so.

The fact remains that the most of the English horses just aren't good enough to complete against the Irish and the English trainers know this so in most cases why bother

Someone needs to tell Willie Mullins, Gordon Elliot, Gavin Cromwell etc that travelling over the Irish Sea is risky for a horse, because they don't appear to be aware 😂. What a lot of nonsense

I think Skelton and the English trainers could learn a thing or two from Mullins and Elliot… they travel their horses week in week out… not to mention win all before them and never complain about the traveling..Skelton showing his yellow belly here big time… all his bang average horses would be ate alive in Ireland anyway …

Racing journalists are scared to criticise Nicki Henderson. His excuses are running thin. He wraps his best horses in wool blanket and runs them only 2-3 times a year. Top trainers like Mullins, Elliot, and Nichols would run them every other month and take on all comers. They would never be afraid to travel either.

Walking around the ring in racecard or at least having the number on top of the horse would improve my raceday experience definitely. Really hard to work out which horse is which in the winter when the horses have the rugs on to keep warm

Horses fly all over the world, without any problems, but Granny Henderson doesn't want to take Con Hill to Ireland, because it might stress him out. It's complete nonsense. The sooner he retires, the better

With the way hendo trains maybe racing fans should stop moaning and start to appreciate Mullins and Elliott for running multiple horses in 1 race cause at least where getting to see them on a regular basis where the same can't be said with hendo spoon fedding his horses

Can you have a talking point of punters being restricted to penny stakes after you win a few quid/ take the value and find it hard to get a bet on other than on Betfair. There's no point in trying to attract new fans if the current fans are treated like dirt by the bookies. If punters can't bet there will be no horseracing in 5 yrs time.

I think Dan was right about Bryony, headline horses get jockeys noticed, she probably has ridden a good amount of horses this season, despite being sidelined through injury.

My point was about Jacob's refusal to answer the direct question about weighing room culture and then Skelton's failure to answer the simple point made by Luck about 'fashion or misogyny.' Skelton's 'oh I'm not getting into all that' was really weak.
