The weighing room blanking Bryony is an absolute joke. She has done absolutely nothing wrong as we are finding out with further revelations. She actually went to the PJA and explained everything, asking for their assistance. All they had to do was pull Dunne in and tell him he had to stop as if this went any further it would get ugly. They decided not to help her at all and tried to bury it. This left her with no option as Dunne’s vendetta continued and she had to go to BHA. WTF is the weighing room not furious with the PJA for failing to act? There is something very wrong with these people.

and thats what the weighing room cannot understand, they are rooted two hundred years back in time. Nearly all racing is, they still pull the forelock, its mr this and mister that. until a jockey calls a trainer by his second name it will never change.

Some years ago, when Hayley Turner was either still an apprentice, or had just lost her claim, she was mic'd up in a handicap at Epsom. During the race, Frankie Dettori could clearly be heard instructing Hayley to move over so he could come through. Hayley acknowledged the instruction and did as she was told. This is the weighing room culture, where seniority prevails as one of the acknowledged rules. My suspicion is that Bryony Frost had the temerity not to play by these rules, and this has riled up the rest of the weighing room. The senior jockeys are upset because this uppity female dares to ride for the sole benefit of her horse and connections, and not by the weighing room order of seniority. We keep being told that she rides dangerously, yet none of her accusers have been able to show on film why she is a dangerous and careless jockey in the hundreds of races she's ridden in. All her races under rules are on film. It would be great to see a demonstration of how she's consistently riding dangerously, or to an above average expectation, on film. My current opinion is the weighing room is angry with her because she won't play by the rules of the 'club'.

I don't believe he did. He tried to play clever and say that the public and press have misunderstood what the case was about. What it really was about, according to Blake, were initial concerns about Frost's riding. Boyce was right. All of the races are shown live. There are numerous video libraries showing every race in the UK. Where are all these cases showing Frost riding in a dangerous or careless manner? Surely the material was there to prove the point made by Dunne. But the material wasn't produced because it doesn't exist. Boyce got it right. Blake got it wrong. 'I've not seen all the angles of all the races.' Try harder, Kevin.

The fact is Dunne was found guilty. Frost should be left to carry on with her career without prejudice. It takes guts to stand upto a bully and the jockeys and valets need to take a good look at themselves. Why should it be a closed shop where things are dealt with in house anyway. It clearly doesn't work. If Dunne had a continued issue with Frost's race riding then surely at some point he should have gone to the officials

Think about how other sports are run. In rugby we have camera angles everywhere so dangerous incidents, especially to the head, are identified straight way. In football every angle seems to be covered to analyse just what happened. If racing had such coverage then there would be no guessing as to whether an incident had occurred and appropriate steps could be taken to deal with it.

The reason Robbie Dunne was made an example of is that it suited the BHA ‘s mission. He was expendable and set against Bryony Frost ‘s in-your-face persona and being the public’s Pin-up girl , he was ripe for being the scape-goat to bring about weighing room change. Can you honestly see the craven BHA going after Dettori. for allegedly bullying a claimer? The BHA knows which fights to pick .The very fact that Dunne was ‘hung out to dry ‘ merely demonstrates that it gave the BHA a ‘get out of jail’ card for dealing with something that they were culpable of not dealing with earlier. Had they done so this pantomime would never have played out!

Being from the US where rough riding is pretty common and has led to some fights in the jockeys' room, I am not sure what to make of this. There seems to be two camps represented in the media and among fans. One is saying that it's sexist bullying and the other is saying it's a case of a one jockey being made a scapegoat for doing what others thought had to be done about rough riding and poor stewarding. I'm inclined to believe the latter. I watched two races on Irish Champions weekend. In the Matron, they left Colin Keene's number up despite the fact that he nearly caused a very serious collision. That was an easy DQ and suspension, IMO. In the other, they let Moore drift way out into the path of Tarnawa. That one was closer only because Tarnawa didn't have to check and SMB won by nearly a length, but some "punishment" was in order for the ride. I don't get to see these riders every day, but when there's smoke, there's usually a fire. Riders don't just bully for the sake of bullying or out of jealousy. When a fight breaks out, it's usually because one rider endangered another. Here, with a girl riding, you're not going to throw punches, but you might take her to task verbally.

In what other sport are professional athletes of any gender asked to compete on a level playing field whilst sharing certain facilities such as valets. Would a female rugby player enter the male changing room having played with them and then get involved in peer to peer altracations within the same team, let alone sharing with opponents. Every changing room has enforcers, very rarely in a mix gender situation though. If this was not a mixed gender row, would it have reached this stage? Stewarding must improve, as jockeys have to have confidence that they feel safe others around them are being scrutinised and held to account for their actions. The evidence others gave indicated that others had concerns about BF's riding over a period of time.

How much of this dispute really involves jockey A v Jockey B and how much involves male v female? The former is just another dispute, replete with alpha-male aggression, verbals and general tit-for-tat tomfoolery. The latter is a 'bullying male using threatening language against a poor, put-upon and almost certainly entirely innocent little female'. (sob, sob) One stays in the weighing room and the other goes straight to the stewards for a top of the line investigation to unearth and root out totally unacceptable behaviour. That triggers all manner of currently fashionable woke ID politics including misogyny, gender discrimination, sexism and of course it reinforces entrenched patriarchal privilege or some such, and we can't have that. Result; a robust but normal dispute is transformed into a headline-grabbing shameful episode, which can only be resolved with a career-endingly absurd 18 month ban. Hell and Damnation is thus unleashed.

A lot of sense from Kevin Blake as usual. Self-policing can be a licence for bullies and thugs to dominate, and that's no good. There is a complication with racing though, even before you worry about male v female, where you can find yourself sitting in a dressing room beside some guy who put your life at risk five minutes ago. You don't get that in football where, for one thing, the risks aren't as great, and for another thing, once you go back down the tunnel it could be six months before you see the other guy again.

This all comes down to different people from different times who've all been brought up completely differently, working with each other. The old school way, today, is seen as wrong, and in many ways, they're right, only the understanding stops there? When it can't, and shouldn't, because those who are older, from, older times are not wrong as such (as in knowing what they're saying is wrong), because to them, this is how we have always dealt with things like this over the years, and whether rightly, or wrongly is irrelevant, as those people from these modern times, need to understand things were very different years ago, as much as those old school people need to understand that today things have changed, and it's up to them to change with the times. In this case, neither party is wrong. Understanding new things must be understood by all, and that takes time, and will not happen overnight. But for me personally? I just think these modern uneducated societies today, hold such an enormous misunderstanding of historical facts, that we watch these people today, (who all believe they're smart people) being brought up with no morals, and no idea of ethics in any sense of the word. We see, and we read them all, so-called university students, calling for historical people to merely be written out of history, because they thought differently to how we all think today? And that must go down as simply the dumbest thing anyone could do, because regardless how they thought back then?, how do these people we see calling for their removal from history, think people in the future could ever learn about it, and therefore not repeat it, if they've taken them out of history? We now live in... “New Times”. The times of the less educated, the unimaginative, and the extremely dull. The times of those who don't understand, yet think they do, but they never have understood. The times that leave you dumbfounded it could ever get this bad. The times when everything we know as wrong?, are now seen as right. The times when everything we know as right?, are now seen as wrong. The times when common sense is as fashionable as pulling teeth. The times when cool means gay, gay means right, and normal?, well, that's just a boring distant memory. The times we see political leaders making threats on social media platforms, or using those platforms to manipulate opinion with lie after lie. The times when truth is frowned upon, and lies today, have become the accepted norm. The times when opposition parties, question absolutely nothing. The times that see intelligence censored, & dumbness rewarded. The times when the POTUS, can't spell simple words like “liar”. The times when having a real opinion, is seen as a BIG problem. The times when illegal, can sometimes be classed legal. The times when legal can sometimes be classed illegal. The times when loving home and country, sees you labelled a communist, a fascist, or a Nazi today. The times when terrorism is now graded by brutality, head chopping is apparently, "moderate" today, but fighting against it?, well that's extremist terrorism. The times when pointing out the obvious, becomes a regular thing. NEW times today, that are setting up just perfectly for the USA's push for war. New times Indeed. You have to laugh really, the whole world's gone absolutely mad, the backward of our societies have all found a voice through, and in Trump, (thinking to themselves if that dumbo can run a country, so can I) LOL. I’m surprised Sky allowed Kevin Blake to spout such utter nonsense. He is obviously part of the problem too. The idea you can threaten to murder and injure someone at work is NOT the ACTUAL problem but instead the problem is that there is no one there to say you shouldn’t is patently absurd. Dunne’s behaviour was reprehensible and it’s right he has been banned. To try and link Frost’s case to one in which a jockey was paralysed by a clear race riding incident when there is zero evidence (and none presented, so clearly it’s not there) it took place is a further example of Blake’s attempt to obfuscate the clear meaning of this judgement. It’s NOT a stewarding issue it’s a human behaviour issue, people don’t behave as Dunne did that’s why we are all talking about it. Shame Blake can’t get a 14 day ban from Sky to reconfigure his brain out of the 1950s.

The idea that adults need to be supervised in the workplace so they don’t threaten to kill or injury each other is absurd. The guy is in his 40’s abusing a young girl in her 20’s get a grip of yourself. He should have got the maximum 3 years the spineless coward.

The current crop of male NH jockeys are not real men. Dunne is a pathetic bully who thinks it is tough to intimidate and abuse a young woman. The other jockeys who chose not to intervene are either too scared of Dunne to stand up to him or didn’t understand how serious this situation was. I have no doubt that this would not have been tolerated amongst rugby men or even a group of modern day namby pamby footballers. There are a lot of male jockeys who need to take a really hard look at themselves. The whole thing is an absolute disgrace.

Boycey is right, if her riding was so bad, why no evidence?? lies to justify an unjustifiable action. The honesty of racing or rather perceived dishonesty has never been so low, my family work in a major bookmakers and they all say the majority of bets are now on machines and other sports, not racing. I am really getting fed up with it myself now, with this, Elliot and many other things the racing fraternity will still not admit their failings and put things right no matter how much ITV and other racing aps try to promote the sport, they always manage to keep failing in the general morals of society.

Nicky Henderson only got a 3 months ban and a fine from the BHA for doping the queen's horse back in 2009. He was treated relatively lightly by the BHA whereas Robbie Dunne has been severely treated by the BHA. British justice my arse!

Miss Frost's riding is good enough for Paul Nicholls and rode for Willie Mullins. Male jockeys have a problem being beaten by female jockeys dont they. Especially in a hard battle to the line. Their egos take a knock .

Shameful attitudes and behaviour by all concerned, even those who should know far better. Bryony Frost's greatest asset which is her exceptional riding talent, seems to be what's caused such envy, jealousy and dare I say antagonism, even blatant hostility. She is backed by the Champion trainer Nicholls (who doesnt' suffer fools gladly and certainly won't have put her on his horses just because she's a female). I wish her every continued success just like Rachael Blackmore has done and any negativity will just have to swallow their hurt pride

Is bullying the new phrase for telling off someone? Is telling - off no longer allowed , I wonder? If people feel someone has acted wrongly , is telling off , reminding someone of their lack of duty of care, ( poor riding , apt to cause injury / death to Racehorses and/or Jockeys ) no longer allowed? In this new generation of jockeys , St. Bryony has been ‘snow-flaked ‘ into believing she has no right to be told- off . There is a difference, I know, between bullying and telling off...but do some people ‘fuzz’ that distinction , eh?

Threatening violence against someone with the evidence of the Stratford fence attendant isn't "telling off someone". Hannah Welch also stated her experiences of Robbie Dunne. The Southwell and Stratford races showed Bryony Frost did nothing wrong and frankly that Robbie Dunne is incompetent.

As if they're not racing, what else can thy do? What would be the purpose of breeding them any more? If Dunne had issues with her riding, then his legal team should have presented videos of the relevant races to the Enquiry. I think this is a case of jealousy because she is a better jockey than him.
