It's never boring here in Las Vegas! Synth is life!

It can get boring here. But that's not a bad thing. It's nice living away from the strip and having less of a big city feel.

@@jennoscura2381 I feel you. I was raised in Las Vegas but now I live in Lake Las Vegas. It’s far enough away from the City for me to appreciate peace, quiet, lower crime rate, and go into the city for shows and nice dinners. Vegas can be kool sometimes

@@KeytarKris I use to live near the Strat. I don't miss the crime. My bike got stolen out of my backyard.

@@jennoscura2381 I’m so sorry. Yeah inside the city there’s a lot of crime. I grew up in the Las Vegas hood really and so glad I now live in a nicer zip code.

I live in Las Vegas. Sounds like you had fun here. I have a KeyStep Pro which I use all the time. I just ordered a KeyStep. The KSP is sitting at my desk where my computer and console are. I have a table to my left where I have my desktop synths and modular. I need a MIDI controller at that spot to make it easier to play things while tweaking knobs. The sequencer and arpeggiator will be nice play with and give me an extra sequencer and arp on top of what the KSP offers. The Eurorack outputs are handy for my modular and semi modular stuff. Thanks for inspiring me to poke around on Reverb and get a KS which I have been meaning to get. If I end up traveling the KS will come in handy.

Very cool episode Kenneth! Love the portability, unfortunately for me, my big hands don't play well with tiny buttons and mini keys burt what a cool usable rig from just 3 pieces.

Very impressive production in a time crunch. All I would add, if you got one, is an iPad. Even a base unit can hold a ton of soft synths and libraries. I definitely like/prefer the idea of hardware control with the modules. An iPad would just allow for additional sample type production, external from the laptop. But it really shows the production that can be done with just a few pieces of kit, some video software and a laptop/interface combo.

There are a lot small synths in 2023. Could you discuss new synthesizer methods?

Korg Volcas are another portable option. I haven't tried them yet. But I plan on adding some to my collection. The Pocket Operators are another option. The KO-33 sampler is pretty nice. I also have the sub. That's a nice bass synth.

Hey guys, I know this might be probably the most unsexy topic to talk about. But I need to know which fully-weighted 88 keys midi controller keyboard would you recommend. It doesn't necessarily need to be a controller. But could also be a synth that also comes with fully weighted keys

you mentioned that you have an iPhone well that is actually all you will need for a mobile music setup, actually with an iphone you can have a complete professional music work station, all you will need for a good setup its around $200 worth of ios music making apps to really have a great startup kit, you can get a full daw like cubasis 3, Nano Studio 2, or Drambo, after that you can get some 3rd party synth plugins which can be use inside most ios daw which are called auv3 or audio units plugins, like DRC, TB Flowtones, or Magellan 2 even Lagrange, shaper, kauldron, or bleass omega and alpha which are all synthesizers just to name few of 100s more auv3 synth that you can find in the app store, plus you also have the choices to also get sample based acoustic instruments auv3 plugins like pure synth, bassalicious 2, neo-soul keys, pure piano, isymphonic and much more which are all great, you can used them all at the same time inside an ios daw all with just your iphone, just like vst's inside a daw on a computer, and the same goes with fx and processers auv3, and all really sounds very professional, basically you can have a complete professional studio, in your iphone, and be able to create anywhere with it without any problem in most cases, to me its better and comfortable then carrying, all that equipment that you have right there for a mobile setup which also is too limited for creating music, basically 6 tracks limited like you mentioned, when with your iphone you can have all you want depending on your iphone cpu and the apps that you used at the same time, which there is solutions or workaround for getting more sounds into the music project you get to produce on your iphone, and all that with just your iphone and around $200 worth of ios apps, which is the future for mobile music production and the future its already here!
