@KatyFernandez-ee8cz I've just never picked up on it before. I definitely hear a little bit of a Flemish accent, which makes sense because of his mother and how much time he has spent in Belgium. Sometimes it sounds a little South African, sometimes a little New Zealand. Just something interesting I never really noticed before.

No matter who the personality you interview is, if you want an interesting and honest conversation you need to make them feel comfortable and trust you. Lando being candid about his immaturity leading to not taking his PS anymore with him, about the work/life balance needed and all those tidbits about F1 (we have 3-4 seconds at 300km/h and it’s boring so we watch the big screen? 😂) tells me 2 things: 1-He’s open and transparent and I love it 2-Austin is a good interviewer. Yes, he’s also the 30 years old married man wearing Ash’s costume while opening mystery tech but don’t forget that he’s a skilled interviewer. Thanks Austin and thanks to Maclaren. Lando is my favorite F1 driver so I was giggling all along!

The lack of comprehension skills of some f1 ""fans"" is quite remarkable but not surprising, unfortunately. Its quite funny how you all are so pressed by something that he's never said (questin about the red flag= luck in timing and free pitstop for all the guys at the front, congratulated max and said he drove well + for people not knowing he's always been against this type of rules and called his 1 win lucky as well). Also it's pretty embarrassing and sad getting offended and this riled up for someone else, especially if that someone actually knows the people in question, is a real life friend and had said and showed so many times appreciation and respect in skills and talent of both max and lewis, rightfully not putting on the same level as them yet(e.x. the last one literally 2 weeks ago)...like if your life is that sad to actually feel the need to hate on any driver/person at least make it makes sense and check your "facts" instead of believing 2/3 out of context headlines/videos/quotes that go against hundreds and hundreds of past and present interviews and inside and outside f1 content, but i guess it's easier to ignore want doesn't fit your beliefs🙃
