"all you'have is just authority's arguments" - authority are people whom have traversed the path and can speak from realisation. Following in their footsteps, we get the same result. It's pretty simple, just takes humility. If your attached to meat, then Jeff is your convenient teacher. He'll make you feel good about eating meat,and any other abominable activity you desire. Then you can cling to the scientists ever-changing paradigm for your self validity. Depends what you want I guess.

I appreciate there is realisation of these truths. And there are different levels of aham brahmasmi he is not presenting. The original Advaitan would have been vegetarian. In this way he is not acarya, or qualified teacher.

this is happening to quite a few people now. it seems that a global shift in consciousness is a distincty possibility in the coming years.

Not trying to make anyone angry here just stating that Jeff is still attached to the taste of blood therefore his spiritual teachings are meaningless. His teachings will take you to his level, which actually is not transcendental to the material desires of killing and controlling lesser beings for the satisfaction of the tongue. Renunciation of actions which cause suffering to others is actually a very basic first level of self realisation. Not books, not pretentious, just a basic fact.

What about the life in the hamburger? I think a cow was slaughtered for your taste of fresh life.. I really thought ahimsa (non-violence) comes hand in hand with one whom is realised in the truth. Compassion. Where is the heart in Advaitan philosophy or is it all head? I would say that there is something else, which includes, but is also beyond your philosophy.

Yes, in silence we can perceive truth within, enough to sustain our being and renounce the hankerings and lamentations of the mind. Truth within manifests as love, humility and compassion for all living beings. So why eat the hamburger? Where's the love in slaughtering innocent animals sustained by the same energy that sustains us? A man's consciousness is seen by his actions. Jeff has not reached this basic level of that self realisation you speak of. Therefore he is not a bonafide teacher

This is not practical LeCriticu. I teach my children to look left and right when crossing the road rather than just run across with out looking. This is so they don't get squashed. Is that right or wrong? If it is all one perhaps you might eat stool rather than actual foodstuff? Where is the practicality in this philosophy?

Ok so I can go and train to be a doctor from the green grocer.. By your philosophy this man Jeff needn't teach at all since we need only look within and train ourselves. Clearly we need guidance from bonafide teachers. Even english I learned from my mother. We are not independent. Shankara, the advaitan master of all masters never deviated from guru disciple channels of enlightenment. This man eats hamburgers and does not qualify as guru. Therefore your "independence" in oneness is egoism
