Talking work zones! Every Animal Franchise Zoo | Planet Zoo

Is it even possible to put every animal in one franchise zoo? I'm going to find out! Today we add 3 new species including Jaguar, Japanese Macaque and Red Crowned Crane into the Every Animal Zoo! My challenge is to create a profitable Franchise Mode zoo that will eventually house every animal in Planet Zoo. Join along as we learn how to create a successful franchise mode zoo together!

About me: I'm Plastic Swans and I do a lot of wacky stuff with Planet Zoo, like racing the animals and time trials. I like to call this kind of thing wholesome chaos and that's what I try to do most of all on the channel. I also make one-off habitats and zoos, and I also make the starter habitats for Planet Zoo, a collection of ready-made franchise/challenge compatible habitats for every animal in the game.

I really like the design of the animal houses this episode. The red corners cranes are some of my personal favorite animals and I’m happy to see them in a cool Japanese enclosure

I have to say it's wonderful to see the lengths you go to to protect the personal space of the shy animals. Good to see no visitors will be able to climb into the habitat to disturb the Jaguars XD (I think the fence should have the angled section facing inwards to function as a climbing barrier) Absolutely gorgeous habitat either way ^^ The Macaques would probably enjoy the water pipe enrichment in a shallow section of the pool, they do like their hotsprings after all ^^

Yep the hot spring has been mentioned - it's something I'll go back to rectify. You're right about the fence! That's an easy fix!

A little sad that there wasnt a hotspring for the macaques. I know they like it and when you said it was there turn I got excited to see if you would use that feature.

Yay another episode! Thanks for showing an overview of the park and your methods. It has a really pleasing layout and top-down view too! I really like the Jaguar mural with the windows too. With the comments about the habitat, I suppose we all have to remember the core of the challenge is to see if all the animals can fit in one franchise zoo.

Thanks! The project did start purely as a challenge to see if it's possible to get all of them into 1 zoo - I'm pretty confident by this point that it will be achievable, so I have defaulted a bit to making things look pretty! At heart I'm a creative player much more than a challenge player, so I do hold myself to a high standard when it comes to presenting how the zoo looks. If I can beat the challenge whilst also creating a functional and appealing zoo, then all the better. That comes at the price of completing the zoo much slower than I initially anticipated though, since aesthetics take time! Lots of viewers are invested in this zoo though, so it's only right I do it justice to best of my capability!

Plastic swans, you should upgrade the safari habitat with the buffalo. I know it’s a franchise and you can’t do so much but I think you should add more nature

Would love to add more in terms of nature, but being franchise if I add more plants the animal's happiness goes down. The game is rather unforgiving with the amount of plants you can add for some of them unfortunately!

Not sure if I like the Macaque-Crane habitat. It feels a bit dry and bland in design. That is probably because as you said you were rushed and didn't have much time to show it love. I love that they are interspecies buddies and kindof was hoping there would be more "oomph" in their layout. I think maybe one thing that could have been done to make it less of an eyesore is that waterfall: maybe use it as part of the structure of the building instead of just being plopped there? Idk, hopefully you have some time to go back and rebeautify that habitat because it just doesn't feel like it's very loved at all (except by the guests). That being said, I do LOVE how you developed the Jaguar habitat with the foliage by the outdoor portion where the guests can look in! Jaguars are probably one of my favorite cats and I can't wait to see the little babies enjoying that habitat!

Good catch! There's a few have died out in the last couple of weeks since I've been too busy to keep on top of replenishing into the zoo and keeping on top of the births/deaths. Secret strategy time - I have a separate zoo that is a horrifying holding pen for breeding pairs that I can dip into to help manage the trade center filling up with hundreds of them. I have time now so can transfer all those waiting back into the zoo :)

I think you got that chainlink fence wrong way around? Shouldn't that upper tilted part be towards habitat, not away from it? As I'm pretty sure none of the guest would try to climb in there? :P Or was that way just that guests won't throw trash in there? But anyways it looks unrealistic that way, as in real life any big cat would scale up such a fence in second and escape. Perhaps not on Planet Zoo though?

What animals from the Every Animal zoo has died so far?

LOTS. The zoo is about 200 years old now, they die of old age and get replaced by new ones from the trade market. Proud I've never had one die of anything other than old age though!
