What is the difference between carnival cruise and msc Cruises which one should I go for

cruised on 9/25/21. A beautiful ship, cabins, and bathroom are small or smaller than other ships. The jogging track is not very wide, too many people try to walk on it after 6'30 or so in mornings, so I ran around 5.

Hi Steven, thanks for watching. I was in an ocean suite and I can attest that the room and especially the bathroom were much smaller, but I love the new design and features. On most cruise ships, the jogging tracks. are only usable very early in the morning, then the deck chairs get dragged all over the place and make it difficult. Personally, I think Royal Caribbean's Oasis class ships have the best dedicated jogging tracks on deck 5.

The design & aesthetics of this ship are soo much better in my opinion then that of Roya Caribbean's. I really dislike the look of the larger new ships of Royal Caribbean , where you have a very mall'esque design, makes you seem like you're not even on a ship, balcony rooms facing other rooms. Mardi Gras however seems to look very stylish & updated but still retains that cruise ship look.

They don't usually have signs to indicate a charge or not at restaurants, but if in doubt just ask. On Mardi Gras restaurants with upcharge fee include Emeril's Bistro, Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse/Brewhouse, Rudi's Seagrill, Bonsai Teppanyaki, Bonsai Sushi, Cuciana del Capitano, Carnival Kitchen, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, Seafood Shack and Chef's Table. Water, coffee/tea and some other drinks are available for no charge.

Hi Cheryl, thanks for watching. If you are asking about reciprocal benefits, between Carnival Corporation brands, they no longer offer that. If you have a Carnival credit card, you can earn points from the other brands and as a Carnival shareholder with at least 100 shares, you can get onboard credits to use on all of their cruise lines, but that is it.

Hi Tristen, thanks for watching. It is the latest class, but they just launched Carnival Celebration a couple of weeks ago. Indoor movie theaters are generally thing of the past on cruise ships. Some smaller vessels might still have them, but with the large screens by the pool, movies shown in the main theater and other locations, there's really no need for dedicated theaters anymore. Even Carnival changed their third Vista class ship Panorama and substituted the IMAX theater for a trampoline activity area.

Since Mardi Gras is a completely new ship design for Carnival in decades, whereas Odyssey of the Seas is an evolved Quantum class ship that have been in service since 2014, there's a ton more excitement for Mardi Gras. Personally I like both for different reasons.

Just came across your video tour and loved watching it. I've always wanted to take a cruise but could never talk any of my friends into going. I bet they would have changed their mind had they seen this video, or maybe they just didn't have the money to go. I always wondered why no one ever talks about accessibility for people in wheelchairs on these videos. It would sure help to know what it's like for us people who can't walk around the ship and to see what the rooms are like for accessibility. Maybe include that in a future video?

Overall the quality of the Carnival cruise has dropped drastically, from food, health protocols during the pandemic, service, cleanliness and performances, all are far from expectations. For the example they only clean up our room 1 time/day when we ask Carnival Crew they said because the covid we only clean up 1 time/day, for me thats not make sense the more we clean up our room the more clean our room. I try their Roller coaster to much technical problem, during the time i am ride thier roller coaster the engine is stop and I stuck in the ride 3 times and i am freaking out, they give me full refund $15 cost but still thats not good at all. Even though these are the newest ships, Carnival Mardigras are all far below average compared to Royal Caribbean, Norwegian and Celebrity. For me no more Carnival at this moment

Hi Pearl House, thanks for watching. The once a day room cleaning started before Covid, the only difference is that before you could request two times a day if you wanted. As far as food quality, I find all of the major cruise lines food quality is not the same over the 20+ years I've been cruising, but I don't think Carnival's is worse than any of their competitors. I've cruised extensively since the restart (over 30 days at sea since August) and I've found some differences between how cruise lines are handling things, but am amazed at the increased level of sanitization and procedures and how the crew members still manage to stay happy and focused on delivering an awesome guest experience. The roller coaster at sea is a first of its kind, you have to expect there are going to be some technical issues at the beginning.

On Dec 7-14 2019 we have cruise with Carnival Breeze from Port in Orlando they still do 2 times cleaning for our rooms also I ask one of spv here in Mardi Gras they said they start cleaning 1 time per day since the covid not before the covid thats my statements came from, also about the sanitazing this Carnival Mardi Gras way way far compare RCL for the example we just back from Serenade of The Seas last week every single table have been use with customer Immediately the staf clean up with the table sanitizer in Mardi Gras no at all they just pick up the plate or what ever in the table and thats it no sanitizer at all and i watch that every sigle day, in RCL they provide us hand sanitizer in the small botol also mask in Mardi Gras is nothing. Some customers also said the same things, for me, my family and friends at this moment we feel more save cruise with other cruise line like RCL, NCL, and Celebrity. What i all said base on my own experience (as platinum membership of Carnival) also experience from all my friends and family we cruising now. Thank you for your video🙏🙏🙏

I know you have to be nice when giving a ship review but the Palm main dining room looks more like a buffet. I expect a bit more luxurious decor for an al a carte restaurant. Very poor.
