@35:00 I would love to point out just how bad Hyatt is. He is supposed to be some sort of “speed demon” Yet - everyone on the other side of the ball is keeping up with him.

@37:03 I swear to you. Brian Daboll and the receivers coach have no idea about leverage or spacing. It doesn’t matter who has been out there the last few years, it just looks hard for any receiver to get open and it’s because it’s garbage spacing, route combinations. Just bad.

That Banks TD was brutal. Cover 4, help inside, 10 seconds left, just keep him in front of you and keep outside leverage. Immediately flips his hips and gives up his leverage then gets beat to the pylon. Just unacceptable in a big moment.

That shit was terrible. Dude was 9 yards off of mclaurin and allowed him to pull off a double move, when mclaurin had nowhere to go inside. Couldnt do a slant AT ALL.

On 2 pt tried at 41:32. Washington is rushing 4 defenders on 6 lineman and RB. Only 3 WR going out that are defended by 4 DB. 3 defenders maintain middle for RB bleed and QB run. Why can't our line and RB maintain rush against 4 defenders? The 4 vertical would have worked better against this defense? The play needed a middle option.

Once Banks is able to read a receivers eyes and arms in order to contest catch he will be ok.

That's shit you learn in highschool.

That's not something you learn, that's something inate and instinctual. It can come along with being generally more comfortable on the field. But there have been a lot of guys who were sticky cover corners who never got their head around to make a play.. never improved, and their career flamed out. Should've picked Joey Porter. Had to make WINK happy though LMAO

There are things at catch pt that can be learned. I don't think he learned it in HS or college bc he was bigger and faster than competition.

Great analysis is usual. Hubbard goes inside and can't recover, so he gets beat outside over and over again.

What has NOT changed since 2015 with the NYG? Has the GM? Has the HC? OC? DC? what is the same = majority owner.

Have you ever considered doing film reviews in terms of play calling. Even just the opening drive where you assume things are a bit more scripted. Try to understand exactly what Daboll is trying to do or is failing to account for in the flow of the play calls he makes.

DJ can NOT turn his back on Hubbard!!! To get blindsided and fumble. Giants don't score enough. And Hubbard is terrible pass blocker. What is he doing?

@Thagomizer-U2352 ай бұрын
@bigblue4life544 True, Hubbard didn't even slow his man up. But DJ should know he sucks and not turn his back on Hubbard. And he would have seen it and been able to throw ball away. I know DJ was trying fake out D by looking right and then throw screen left. But if your LT is a turnstile U can't do that.
@Metalgarn2 ай бұрын
@@Thagomizer-U235 If you do that, the play falls apart quickly as the linebackers react (not to mention the fanbase whinging about DJ locking on to his targets instead of using his eyes to manipulate the defense). And really, as bad as Hubbard is at pass protection that was an epic fail even for him. Not sure you can function as an offense if your QB is supposed to expect that on every pass play.
@Thagomizer-U2352 ай бұрын
@Metalgarn A screen should be designed to block the LBs. If they think they need fake then the screen has to be to other side bc Hubbard is a turnstile and let's up free runners all the time .

@@Thagomizer-U235 That's a fair argument but that isn't really on DJ then is it?
