I came to this specific episode today with a question in my heart about the good Samaritan, and also why Martha always sends to her a bad rap; and i left with tears in my eyes at the story of the trouble tree. My wife and I are SO busy all the time. My job requires long hours where, for at least 5 days of the week, in home long enough to sleep before my next shift; and my sweet bride is working so hard to fulfill her dream of owning and running a successful massage business in our little Utah town of Tooele. Our time together on the weekends is SO incredibly precious for us as a couple and as parents, and sometimes as grandparents when our grandson gets to come by. I try to remember to leave my worries outside the home, and give my family my all. I need their love and support as much as I need oxygen. Thank you both for these episodes! The great thing about my job as a truck drivers is that I can bounce around podcasts like yours so night along and feel the Spirit.

I continue to be so grateful for the beautiful lessons you prepare. They really help me as I have limited sit-down study time & do most of my study by listening in the car while I drive. Thank you for this great service 🙏💕🙏

The debt we owe the Lord is something we cannot repay...just as the servant owed so much and wanted mercy. That's us!

Even when you do forgive you still feel the pain the original offender inflicted upon you so somehow you need to feel the arms of safety in Christ healing you and let that be sufficient, but it is so hard as some abuses are so tragic.

If you have ever actually taken in the homeless the lesson there is they can feel entitled and do you harm. Not all will accept your sacrifice with civility
