I have always voted Labour but this Labour government have been appalling. I feel utter shame at what I am witnessing and utter shame that I voted for this party. They said their plans were fully costed and the only way they would raise more taxes was to add VAT on private school placements. A blatant lie. What they have done to farmers, what they have done to pensioners. The whole Labour MPs gave WASPI women a standing ovation and said that they supported them when in opposition but now in power have refused to give them compensation. What are they doing, are they just lying and saying what everyone wanted to hear? The budget was a disaster for employers and the impact on jobs. I am currently out of work, not by choice but there are so few jobs out there and every job has hundreds of applicants. This Labour government are so utterly clueless and naive, I just do not understand what they are thinking, Labour will not get re-elected ever again if this continues.

So they are not afraid of making "difficult" decisions. Then why don't they change the gold plated civil service pensions, why don't they tell councils to stop paying so much to their leaders, why don't they stop using expensive hotels for migrants.....

You get lied to once by somebody and it's always at the back of your mind the next time they say something to you. Are they lying to me? They've done it before. How many times have these people lied to us?

It was worked out since he's been in office he has spent the equivalent of a month in the air, he's managed to find money for all these flights. I'm beginning to wonder if he ever intends to stay in the UK for more than a few days for the next 5 years!

To all those who agree with the WASPI decision - just remember this precedent (and all DWP letters now sent out state regarding your pension Benefit (as it’s now a benefit not a right and is payable or not ‘under current legislation’) that when this government decides that if you have a private pension you will no longer qualify for a basic state pension benefit, or a means tested one only and makes this retrospective gives you no to little notice don’t complain

I knew about the pension change two months before my 62nd birthday, only because I couldn’t understand why I hadn’t been notified. This “well you’re living longer” is total rubbish. I started work at 14 and paid my NI knowing I had a contract with the government that part of that money was going to my state pension. By 1995 I had completed 2/3 of my payments to this club but I swallowed the working an extra 2 years. Now tell me the name of any private pension scheme that could change the rules and rob you of what you’ve paid in to that scheme. So what we should be asking is what have the ministers done with our pension money….. stop blaming our generation and allowing division and start asking the real questions. Some ministers should be behind bars for fraud.
