Once her family wasn’t invited to the wedding everyone started asking actual questions. Prior to that we just enjoyed them as a couple. Then we found out her dad raised her Without her mom for over 10 years. We found out that she actually Did know of Princess Diana and the rest of the royal family though she adamantly denied it. We saw the picture of her as a little girl Outside of Buckingham Palace. We also heard from friends she had dumped that she Specifically wanted to marry an Englishman. She bagged a Prince. Unfortunately for her, the palace does protect it’s own. She didn’t realize how much they protected him his whole life. They fooled each other. They deserve their fallout. They could have left and lived their life but they choose to spend their lives throwing stones from their glass house. It’s tragic alright. Not how they think though. Actually, from what I've seen, I find Harry's book reassuring. The first time I took an interest in Harry was at his wedding and I found that beard very off-putting, a sign of arrogance, and I wondered why the Queen had allowed it. So, it's reassuring to know they didn't like it either. I thought the Royal family were slow to place boundaries on Meghan and wondered if they realised what they were up against - so it's reassuring to know they were onto her from the outset. And trust me, I can relate to the Prince of Wales' desire to grab his brother by the throat and bang some sense into him. So, really, Harry is restoring my faith in the monarcby!

I think it's important to note that therapy can be unhelpful if delivered by the wrong person...there is a huge amount of evidence to support therapies such as CBT that they can and do help people heal from all sorts of trauma. However having the right person for the individual is crucial and just like relationships sometimes people can bring out the best or worst in others.
