Dr Abdul Wahid, who heads the UK branch of the Islamist terror group Hizb ut-Tahrir, has been 'suspended' by NHS England.
Jewish News reported that the suspension came after the Government officially outlawed the group last week.
Home Secretary James Cleverly branded the group “antisemitic” and warned it “promotes and encourages terrorism”.
Hizb ut-Tahrir is banned in several countries around the world, including China, Germany, Pakistan and Indonesia.
It has organised rallies in London alongside pro-Palestine marches in recent months, following the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Dr Wahid has been criticised for previously describing Hamas's attack on Israel as "giving the enemy a welcome punch on the nose".

The GP Direct website still lists Dr Wahid Shaida as “a salaried GP” at his practice since 2002.

As a white English man I’ll say that I don’t actually believe he did handle anything well. The facts are that Hamas started this recent string of events by killing 1,200 Israelis, there is no denying that. But israel have responded in a disgusting, over the top way which has killed almost 20x the number of Palestinians. Both Hamas and the IDF are as bad as each other but Israel’s response is disgraceful and civilians should never pay the price, the IDF should’ve conducted more calculated insurgence to take out top hamas officials and if a handful of civilians die along the way then so be it, what they’ve done is genocide. Piers seems to suggest that because of Oct 7th, anything Israel does is well within their rights, this isn’t true. Having said all this, Muslim men should not be saying that Hamas couldn’t have murdered and raped women and children because it is against Islamic beliefs, there is a myriad of evidence to suggest that Islamic beliefs do not stand in the way of terrible violence. Both parties are wrong to an extent but it is Israel that needs to stop right now.

I had an appt with a new Muslim doctor a week ago. I didn't know it until he rattled off his credentials to me for being a doctor. Odd. Never had a doctor do that before. Needless to say, I won't be seeing him again, I don't trust them - any of them.

You won't use him again because he's Muslim .Are you kidding me ? I've had a Muslim consultant for 11 years and he's the most professional caring and best Doctor I've ever had. Who's always got plenty of time for me and gets involved in my case on a personal level . I had racist views until I met him and he's changed my views completely. Goes out of his way to try and help me . You cannot pick and choose what religion your NHS Doctor is !! It's hard enough to get an appointment as it is .

@@vickythefist7062 Sounds like you got a gem of a doctor. When a doctor has to tell me his credentials that qualifies him as a doctor, my antenna went up. Then he proceeded to increase a medication that caused me issues in the past. I asked him if he read my past history - he claimed he did. I knew he didn't because he would have seen the side effects of the medication that it caused me. So, no I don't trust him, Muslim or not.

He's a GP. GP's aren't NHS they take NHS contracts and he's been suspended from dealing with NHS patients.
