I've just seen the Samaritan's Christmas Appeal asking for money to shelter the homeless in the UK. I always give to this but I am wondering if this money will now be used to give sheltered accommodation to the failed asylum seekers/failed economic immigrants who are camping on the streets of the UK, or will my donation go to what I intend it to be, to an indigenous British homeless person, ex-service personnel who need shelter and cannot get a free hotel accommodation. Will my donation be subject to abuse like the RNLI lifeboats donations used to taxi Immigrants into the country, are the Samaritan's now by the definition of 'homeless' give our donations to shelter immigrants, perhaps directed by the government and unbeknown to the public?
