My 2 year old waited 6 hours in A&E in agony every time he tried to stand only to then find out his leg was broken. Additionally while waiting for a doctor we witnessed the triage nurse reading her Facebook page. As parents, we were fuming.

I find this never ending discussion about the NHS so pointless and frustrating! It was never intended, and it can never cope with the levels of sickness we are seeing today. 500 children a day - a day are referred to the NHS mental health services! As a population we are weak, lazy, fat and sick. Once we have got sick enough through our crap diet and lifestyle, we go to a GP. He has no training in nutrition and health. He is trained in medicine. No medicine can cure a chronic disease, so once in the system you get more sick from drug side effects and so it goes. What a stupid system, and it is doomed to fail. Throw as much money at it as you like, it won’t work. Good health starts in the kitchen, not the hospital.

I worked in Singapore for a year and on one occasion was rushed to Hospital in an Emergency. I was attended to within 10 minutes at the A&E at Singapore General, spent a further week there in a bed which I was given straight away. Imagine if we had a functioning Health Service in the UK.

We need to privatise the nhs where you get government funding for your treatment at a level dependent on how much you have paid in. If you have paid nothing you pay 100%, if you have paid 5 years of taxes you pay 75% of your treatment and so on. Make health insurance mandatory so it can be used where needed

Where are people planning to go to? Don’t bother with Australia. Canada sounds like a similar basket case. Anywhere in Europe has problems getting into. Having lived in 4 different countries, I found that after 2 years I was involved in the complexities of that country. You stop being on holiday. I don’t advise the US it is utterly foreign.
