As a disabled person living on Benefits. I have still got to pay my Council Tax, not just working people. This rise out of my benefits will be around three quarters of my benefits. By the way I also pay for my housing and all utilities. I hate being called a scrounger. I loved my job when I became ill very quickly. My life savings are gone on living before one can claim benefits and also, out of that I have to pay for my adult social care. I am lucky. My son supports me during this cold spell so that I don’t go cold. God help me when I become a pensioner.
