No matter what happened around the time of their wedding, Thomas Markle raised Meghan, not her mother. He sent her to a private school, helped her meet people in the entertainment industry through his work and I think it is despicable what she has done to him. She refuses to see him, he hasn't met his grandchildren or Harry and he obviously is very ill and probably doesn't have much time left in this world. Thomas said no, he wouldn't do that. Markle didn't want her step-sister and brother at the wedding and she couldn't invite Thomas Snr without them, so she NEVER invited Thomas Snr. Instead she filled the pews with celebs. The only reason she gets on with her mother is because her mother gives visible credence to Markle's black heritage claims even though she's never identified as black until she needed to play the race card.
