Been a fan of Mr. Glass for years, so you'll forgive me for what I'm about to tell you...Almost twenty years ago I was working in the music dept. of a Borders Books in NJ. Being familiar with Glass' music I knew how people responded both positively and not so positively to it. So I decided to bet a co worker that I could get a customer to complain about our(my) choice in music to be played through the speaker system. Within oh, 3 or 4 minutes of starting the music, a customer approached us and kindly said "I'll do anything, just please turn off that music". Winning the bet, I happily obliged the customer's request. I don't recall the specific piece, but I'm sure it was one I and many enjoyed and continue to enjoy:)
