I don't necessarily disagree but I would just counter your point by saying City and Pep strengthened by buying largely speaking world class players and having the millions to buy them and the millions to pay them ludicrous wages (and we all know how). Spurs just will not do that and have the strategy of buying young talent that can hopefully develop into great players, which is all well and good until 3 or 4 suddenly don't develop and the side suddenly starts to look average.

Defending is not exclusively an Ange Postecoglu problem. The problem has been there way before he even signed for the club. It's more of a scouting problem. Spurs haven't had a decent set of defenders since Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen.

I think that’s unfair you have to have confidence the rebuild will be successful. It’s a risky system with a manager who isn’t adaptable and has little in-game management. We’re sitting 10th with a tough run of games supporters should be worried. If we’re in the bottom half after these games and in trouble in the cups need to think is he the right man to continue with.

Blame big Ange here is ridiculous, we defended as bad with Conte and Mourinho. At least when we play good now, i feel proud. Media today is so fast to jump on a manager, especially with a loss or two.

We play the same way every game, occasionally we play at a higher tempo, but mostly we walk the ball up the pitch until there is no room to move and the opposition just sit in. Solanke literally gets no space to be able to do anything. Inverted full backs to make up for the fact we have no central midfield. So predictable, and a squad that is not good enough to compete with the top teams. Daniel levy is the main problem at spurs though, consistent lack of proper investment to buy TOP players

Ange isn’t the problem he’s been successful everywhere else he’s been. For me the keeper isn’t good enough. Romero has been absolutely dreadful, and VDV has had injury problems, but looks world class at times when fit. They need a proper CDM and a goal scorer. They have a decent first 11 but can’t cope with injuries to key players

Hes only had success in sub standard levels of football, whenever hes been in high levels he fails.Examples..brisbane Roar didnt win a ACL game,Celtic didnt win in ECL.Worst record by a long way for an Australian at WC(Brazil 2014)..7 years and 4 qualifying trys at 20 and 17 youth levels for WC,didnt qualify for one.

The Asian Cup was in Australia and they beaten by Sth Korea in the group. Then only had to beat China and UAE to meet Korea in the final. Very lucky draw and beat them in extra time which was a good achievement.

I remember when Klopp's Liverpool were conceding goals easily, Klopp said he could write a book on defending and people laughed. They eventually become really defensively solid with a couple of huge signings. Spurs don't have those huge signings and they are still a young team developing.

The most likely thing that will happen we will beat Manchester City and then go lose to Fulham that would be the most spursy thing to happen. We played Man City last season without Van de ven and Romero at the Etihad and came away with a 3-3 draw
