I'm not even a Arsenal fan and this has rubbed me up the wrong way. A fan of a team that isnt even in the champions league has the cheek to criticise a team that's in it😮. He needs to focus on his own team really, because they seem to be going backwards quickly while playing this so called attacking football he keeps banging on about. Atalanta Europa league winners, lost one game last season in Europe in the 2nd leg against Liverpool when they were already through. Arsenal defensively are very good but going forward they are pedestrian ATM. Raya has helped them with some good saves but that was a savable pen and the follow up header gave him a chance to save it as well. That header should have gone into the corner of the goal and Raya would have got nowhere near it,the same as against Villa with Watkins. I would like to think Arsenal are playing like this because of the opposition there facing in away games and they'll be more attacking against other teams.

It’s really not that complicated, Odegaard, Merino, and Zinny who could all play the #10 are out. You have three of your hardest games in the early schedule in a row all within a seven day period w/o a top creative player. You absolutely take any points out of this UCL game away in Italy, a tough place to play regardless of opponent, and then against City. You cannot recreate the Arsenal free flow attack in five days w/o your best creative playmakers. So, the strategy is to SURVIVE. Rely on the best defense in the world and hopefully sneak a goal via set piece or brilliant moment, or mistake, until you can work out some things in training or you get those players back. I’m sure against worse opposition Arsenal can score more goals, but these are tough games all away from home. Just survive is fine…

That’s not true at all, out of 36 teams only 8 are going out here, seeing the quality of some of these teams, Bratislava, Belgrade etc, they’re unlikely to get more than 8 points over 8 games so draws in tricky ties like that will be invaluable later as long as you win some games, which Arsenal will likely do against Shaktar and Monaco and Zagreb.
