Isak is a quality player. I'm not sure about him being as good as halland just yet. He's had one and a half really good seasons. If he carries on with his form for the rest of this year and breaks 25 goals, he's right up with the best strikers. 25 goals with a club the level of Newcastle is very good. Hes played 48 prem games, completed one season with 10 games, a full season and 22 games so far this season. Hes already beat rashfords 2 best goal tallys in the prem. A big club will go in for him soon, i would imagine.

This is why isak will not leave newcastle, the rule restrictions on spending means they've already got far into the build with hardly any spending and they're only another 6 quality players away from domination. I dunno if anyone got the memo but mike ashley left the building years ago. There is literally nothing to gain for newcastle by selling one of the best strikers in the world which they grabbed for a bargain and can't possibly replace him with what they'd get for him.....the goal is to win, not to sell the path to victory and pave the way for someone else. It will be cheaper to add more quality to an already high quality team. The money won't be an issue with eddie howe at the helm, he can improve any player. Its only a matter of time, not money and infact the restrictions have helped. They've made the club make very careful decisions rather than splash out cause you can. Relying more on skill than cheque book.

PIF has bought NUFC for a purpose. Isak going anywhere will depend upon them, they do not need the money, money only helps for PSR but they’ve spent 3 windows sorting that. It will be if PIF think he is the right flagship for them leading into a Saudi WC or if they think we are still a few years away and makes sense to build the club with the funds and sign another marquee player in the next few years. Isak also has a say and if he wants to leave that makes a difference but it doesn’t make a difference to the price. Rice/Caciedo/Enzo £100m and they don’t decide games, Isak does. The topic was highlighted more than once in the environment. Newcastle has a notorious climate during these winter months, especially for culture, and the Magpies were reliant on talented players. Hence the lack of trophies. Isak would be ideal for a team like Liverpool before PSG allows him. Therefore, the atmosphere on Tyneside questions whether the fan bases will be secret supporters who have taken over United. Success paid off and actually replaced the club's identity. If it was a fan that Jamie found out about, the club would have to split into Newcastle City. This type of atmosphere will surely be the future of association football. I think on that note he may be wanting to change his colours and go Celtic.

That's normally the case with the striker position... No service, and you're out of the game. You itch to get involved, so you come deep to get a touch in the build-up, but it amounts to nothing. That said, I personally would like to see Isak do more running off the ball. He waits too much, in my opinion, essentially getting himself space for a cutback without having to work for it. While that is indeed a good option, and has the additional benefit of keeping you fresh when you do get the opportunity to score, I feel like he should balance it out with some runs to the front or back post. That sprint we saw him do in this game, for example, was a run he should've already started, and if he did, he would've beaten Saliba to it.
