I spoke to 2 UTD supporters yesterday who didn't watch the game I being an Arsenal supporter sat & watched it as a neutral my son 14 years of age is a UTD supporter & he was upstairs watching KZbin. That's the mentality of UTD supporters today. I watched every game this season for Arsenal win lose or draw fine we didn't win anything only a runners up medal but I watched ever single game. why are so many people incapable of wrapping their head around the factors that have contributed to this season being poor: ZERO left backs fit all season, one striker in the club who is 21, 15 different centre back partnerships due to long term injuries, a massively drawn out takeover followed by a truly shite January transfer window plus all the Sancho BS. Given those factors this season was always going to be tough, yes a the league could have been better, (maybe a 6th place finish would have been par), but we have won the FA cup which obviously trumps that. People giving ten haad so much grief when he has had to field a 36 year old Jonny Evans (great player and attitude but prob slowest outfield player in prem and championship) 23 times in the leauge this season. People get so irate if united lose a game in the prem because we are a huge club and a big name - but when you have to play 36 year old jonny evans, casimiro (legs gone) or kwambala (19) , have no specialist left back available ,have Eriksen (least physical player in the league) starting in midfield + rashy playing like a c*nt all year - wtf do you expect playing high level, well drilled, physical premier league teams?

I'm from the States, and since I don't have a hometown team to support, I have the luxury of supporting teams from all corners of the globe. Man Utd is where my heart is, though, and I never doubted this result for a second because that's how I go into every match. If we win, I'm happy. If we don't, we'll get'em next time. I'm not a religious man, but what faith I do have lies and dies with MUFC! The team needs work in pretty much every place one could need it, but we will get back to where we truly belong. On top! This "fan" is amusing. Every team that experienced injuries to major players dropped points. Imagine that not only did Manchester United have the most injuries, but we had it mainly to our back line. No team can be stable without a solid defense. Ten Hag today used the same strategy he did when we played earlier in the season. What unaware people don't realize is that it worked very well up until a defensive error let City back in. Our CBs that day were Lindelof and Evans with no established LB. For the FA Cup final we FINALLY had our first CB pairing fit (not even match fit) and they looked very good. A more stable backline allowed the rest of the players to be more confident in their roles. This is why the tactics worked this time.....Ten Hag finally had the players to execute it. That coupled with the extra effort for a trophy match is why we're FA Cup champions. Being emotional about a league finish that was riddled with MASS injuries to an already average squad, distractions with the Sancho issue and a Club sale saga that went on and on is senseless.

We had a Ferguson out campaign by the English media in 88/89 and after the club ignored that farce we won so many trophies the plastic fans don’t know what it was like before. We need to back the manager and put the infrastructure in place for growth. Great scouting, analysis, physiotherapy, medical, sports psychology and those departments that make a club tick. All departments failed this season especially the medical one and these are what should be analyzed and resolved.
