@SanSpiral That's so true, we've become such a nanny state in recent years and trying so hard to be equal has meant the exact opposite where four woman constantly undermining men on 'loose women' are up for awards while 'banter' off air undermining woman causes people to lose their jobs (even though charges were not pressed).

Personally I think that's an adequate apology, he even states that the supposed victim and him are on good terms and it's all been forgotten. With that said, I'd like to see him back along with Andy Grey, two of the most iconic voices in English football history along with John Motson and various others.

@TejasM14"I have indulged in sexist banter myself, so have my female friends... ...and believe in equality more than 99% of the people I know". And the other 1% are fair game are they? Listen to what you say before talking about equality. It's great to take the piss out anyone that isn't you, but until you are the minority you have no 'right' to say whether it is funny or acceptable or not. You "believe humor breaks down barriers like sexism, racism and homophobia"? Only when you are laughing!

Cant stand Richard Keys, he certainly tweets and blogs now and he's very bitter about being sacked. He's since criticised Gary Neville saying he's biased because he "fingered" De Gea and he was told to by Fergie. He also said Neville's role as a pundit and England coach are conflicting. He now has a new show with Gray on Al Jazeera constantly posting indirects about hoe their show is "the REAL MNF" and how Gray is "the first and best" pundit in which others copy. Talk about biiter.

It's a great reminder for the rest of us just what we need to eradicate to make this world a better and fairer place for all. So I thank you for your bigotry! She's not there as a "token" to womens football. She's an assistant referee by merit. And for those calling it "banter", wasn't that Ron Atkinson's excuse. If it's unacceptable then it's unacceptable.

What a load of nonsense this is. Sexual dimorphism exists and pretending it doesn't to hoist a false equality upon a group that hypocritically perceives persecution everywhere they look doesn't change that.

@ftpb1 but making disrespectful remarks about a linesman, JUST BECAUSE SHES A WOMAN they had to criticise her for no reason. all her decisions were 100% right. infact, women are better of as linesmen. they have better vision than men. Its called professionalism, your too young to understand probably because you dont have a job yet. but in the employment world, There is no fun in this manner. I heard it whilst watching the kops game, i thought it was fucking disgraceful what they said.

Footballs getting far too sensitive.. Over and over again trying to make examples out of people for silly mistakes. People being too sensitive. What has that got us? I'll tell you....Gary Neville. I hope your happy with yourselves. Andy Gray knew his football. Richard Keys knew his football. Atleast let Chris Kamara be the new SkySports major footballl pundit. Its complete bullshit. Now goaline technology will be introduced. What happened to Football? Changing to keep those few voices quiet.
