Anyone can get lucky in Cup competitions and end up winning one ; United had a very favourable draw last year in the FA Cup and were a marginal disallowed goal away from losing to Coventry in the semis. You can't judge a manager on Cup results it has to be done on League performances/results which don't lie.

Yeah after losing to Spurs the way Man utd did. Ten Haag need a point and a performance minimum against Villa and yes they are quite capable of doing it.! Maguire should start he has played very well now for 12 months when he's started. Hopefully Rashford 45 mins off on Thursday's nights 2nd tier 1st team game, keeps him fresh Eriksen will start he's also on form. Ten Haag needs to get top this season and not stay too far off that pace to keep his job in my opinion. Best alternatives if needed would be Martin O'Neil or Roberto Sanchez both deserve a chance a rich club I think.
