If Friedkin is sensible, he'll acquire land in the area next to the stadium and do what Man City are doing by building a concert venue in the 25000 size, build an hotel, build other retail facilities and establish an Everton village in the area which might involve some form of merchandise manufacture. That is what I would do if I was Friedkin.

Pretty sure that land would've snapped up by developers a long time ago looking to do the same thing themselves. That's prime real estate by the water. Thing with City is that it was always a run down area with cheap land that they built up themselves, years before Manchester became a skyscraper city full of Londoners all moving up north cause it's 'cheap'. Bit too late in Liverpool.

I’m an Everton fan mate but best ground in Europe? It’s in the top 5 absolutely but have you need the new Beenabeu ? Spurs stadium? Pans for new Camp Nou ? Calm down. In my opinion, despite plans to expand to 65,000 If required, it has been built to small at 53,000. It’s amazing but the demand is already there for 65,000. It should have been built at that capacity from the off.
