The "ball" question, was a question, however the response leans on excuse. Period. The Club, the squad and the manager need to be bigger than the "balls". Arsenal as a full healthy squad can be extremely competitive, however when there are illnesses and injuries, the Arsenal bench is clearly not deep enough. Management and ownership need to bring in new talent. The current squad, as a complete team, have peaked. They are a SOLID, SOLID second-place team. To achieve more, they will need to drop some players and bring in new, lethal talent.

It's appalling to watch adults sit & actually discuss how another man should've answered a question not to sound as an excuse to "arsenal fans" when he was actually just being straight up & honest about a question asked. So these 3 men have actually sat down to evaluate the semantics of the reply & gone beyond to say it was Artetas excuse when he can clearly be heard saying "we have to adapt & do better". They're making meal out of nothing & gaslighting a fan base they're making sense out something

Newcastle used the same ball, what a crazy excuse

Arteta didn’t blame ball. He was asked a question and answered it.

If u are bright enough, u will deduce more from his answer which directly relates to the missed chances & state of play...whereby, it was no issue with Newcastle as they scored 2🤔

He totally did blame the ball

@@philscott3759 he just answered it factually. The ball is different and perhaps it is a reason but not an excuse

I wouldn’t expect Arteta to be sacked if we win nothing this season but in the summer id expect the wrongs to be righted. Getting an out/out striker, better LW, backup to saka etc

Their set piece delivery didn't suffer though so maybe Pulis should do less set piece training and more finishing training.

Arteta did not introduce this, the reporter did. The reporter said other mangers had complained about the ball…. Does he find it different? How can you not be objective. It’s clear by now the press doesn’t like him. But at least you owe your audience objectivity.
