Tyron Woodley if you watch the fight purposely dropped his guard, scrunched up his face, closed his eye to embrace the impact, and actually got knocked out! He was supposed to get knocked out, but probably not like that.. I’m sure he wanted to act out the knock out, but Jake turn his tv off.. But Tyron Woodley did it for the bag.. And now you see Tyron Woodley at every event broadcasting and being apart of the promotion.. This has nothing to do with age. There are men in my gym who are 55+ who maul guys half their age. People are really underestimating Tyson, no wonder he wants to fight again. He had a major knee injury and still even then was clearly not trying to hurt Jake. Not one punch was thrown with bad intentions. Tyson had to earn his 20m by getting to round 8. He could have ruined Jake in 2 rounds even with a bad knee. The shame on Tyson’s face and the biting of the glove said it all. I'd expect better from Oliver been a former boxing - assuming a 58 year old man with health problems, a busted knee, addicted to weed, and was a shot fighter 25 years ago - was going to be anything other than a sad shadow of his former self......take a 58 year old former premier league footballer and put him in a team of 28 year old division 3 players and he'll look old and slow. Put a 58 year old former F1 driver who hasn't raced for 20 years in a car and ask him to compete with 28 year olds - he'l lose. the reflexes and timing are gone. The only issue with the fight to me is Jake Paul running from a 58 year old man. Not one time did Jake stand toe to toe with Tyson. He started clinching until the refs gave him a warning then he started running. He knew Tyson was not able chase him. For the people that expected to see the 28 year old Tyson, that was not the same Tyson at age 58. If you think a 58 year old was just faking, then I'd like to see you at 58.

I am in no way a boxing expert...I like it, and get the basics of the sport as it were. But I find it astonishing that not one of the experts talking about Tyson's training... about any ROAD WORK !! So obvious...but not mentioned! If he cannot run...how was he going to condition his lungs/breathing? Many were hyping it up, saying how Tyson smashed punchbags, belting sparring partners, hurting them through the padding, his bob and weave style and so on... ( footage that shows 10 second bursts of punching or less), BUT I repeat not one of them I know of mentions, (nor is there any video I can find) of Tyson doing any road work for stamina in the ring. Shouldn't that have started alarm bells ringing (as if they weren't already)? What did they expect, Tysons lungs and stamina to suddenly become what they were in the 90's? Jake Paul would stand still to get hit?

It was a pantomime and that is what it had been marketed and intended. This was not good for the sport of boxing and using the women's purse as example has simply demonstrated the exact opposite i.e. they can only be paid well if part of such shenanigans. Good for these two fighters at this specific instance but be able to distinguish one thing from the other. It hadn't been scripted as much as Tyson had been a plant whilst people tuned in for sake of reminiscing of the good ol' days. Not being able to distinguish this from the sport is akin to being unable to distinguish Scrubs from working in a hospital. That it was sanctioned, that was the most perplexing and concerning of all issues.
