@@LaRez2the best part is, if you make a played with 99 carrying, and switch them from QB to RB, you can very, very noticeably see a difference in fumble frequency from the same player. The ratings are built per player rather than universal. I also believe this is the case with speed honestly, a 99 speed WR is not the same as a 99 speed QB.

The big issue is that no matter how good your QBs rushing stats are, dude will have butter hands the microsecond he crosses that line of scrimmage. Ill always say the biggest issue in Madden is that it encourages you to play football, but the physics refuse to let you play anything but Madden.

A lot of QBs get blasted if they don’t slide. The QB does become injured from the hit, but Madden makes the QB fumble instead because many people will complain the QB is injured all the time. Which one do you want… Have a QB be injured or fumble the ball? lol

@@RobertReital Things like that is exactly why I don't play Madden like it's actual football. In a real game that's a smart run and a good slide without much risk involved. If the defender actually did that in a real game then it'd be a flag or ruled down by contact when the defender touched him because by sliding he's giving himself up. Madden logic is "he's still in my range for tackling so let's lunge, pull him up, set him up to be hit sticked for a fumble and that's a quality football play lmao.

@supremereacter6453 and that's exactly what they need to do. that 1 small little step into making the game realistic. In real life if a qb rolls out, there's gonna b a linebacker dropping down to watch him at that line of scrimmage or a DB, that, but difficult bcs u still have to watch the backfield for the receivers. And that's the deal about trying to stop dual threat Qbs. That's what makes football hard and challenging, but fun at the same time. In Madden, the linebackers and secondary juh stands there like zombies watching the QB in position to run the ball, and allow a first down almost everytime. Guaranteed first if their like 2nd and 6 or etc,.and sometimes extra yards. Whereas irl the qb might get the first but there's secondary or linebackers to get there immediately to prevent extra yards or force the qb to run out. That's called football IQ.

No matter when you decided to slide, once a defender is catching a 99 speed boost and within 5 yards if you, the second you tap square, or X to slide… you’re sucked into a tackle animation and they don’t let you slide at all and you’re in a fight for your life for 5 seconds before your player finally goes down.
