I'm just saying... Where are all the music heads. There is a difference between big sound and sound quality. Talladega is doing an awesome job in a short amount of time and they have a really big sound so I respect them and is not taking anything away from them. So if you're looking for that big SU-like sound then Talladega got it... But if you're listening for sound quality I think Alcorn has the edge. And these two bands are the perfect example to show the difference between big sound and sound quality... But overall this was a really good battle.

Loudness dont make you TC ! Clarity does ! More people mean nothing if its not balanced and everyone is over blowing...and Arrangement wise TC can use a lil better arrangements especially for B-tones (in my own opinion) because it seems b-tones have the easiest parts just so they can be louder and what not

TC is beastin ... but their not that clean. They're trying to take ova the swac with volume .... anybody can get a group of crankers... I hate when ppl say they gone take ova Su... thats so not true... SUz band is kings to this ish... in su band u dont only hear crankers but you hear Musicians! If they get their musicianship up then we can talk! ... but they have a mix of students from all good swac schools... since they put that together ... come up with your own style ... something that will make heads truly turn... that crankin it up better than southern ain't gone happen!! Southern can play... !! Who want to have a rep of BabyBox or SU jr. Thats not okay... when I see them I can picture a loud wanna be southern band. Not hating...I have hella respect for them but they need their own name! Meaning their own style of playing! Hopefully that will come years down the line. But much much respect for the progress of their program.. n their numbers !!! U see no one doing what their doing!!

After watching this, for starters, looks like a casual tie to me. 1, if any of you saw alcorn this year, you can tell this aint their whole band. Grades from 1st semester deleted some of the members. Despite that, TDC didn't sound that impressive, just loud. What band isn't loud? Thats nothing new. Then, TDC was trying to play all their "punchline songs." For real, I think Alcorn cared less about TDC that day. Alcorn had nthn to prove. TDC was proly amped up for this battle to get here. Thats just the vibe I get from these clips. I see a showcase, not a battle here.

This is the same TC I heard in N.O. and people are saying they smashed SU. Interesting, that no one considered that SU along with other programs are basically in concert season mode. Which is why I sit back and laugh at folks saying TC smashed SU when clearly one band is year round marching band that basically reminds me of that N.O. All Star Alumni Band.
