Then Molly Shannon, Andy Richter, Elvis Costello, Mos Def, and Dale Earnhardt Jr., show up too! NASCAR superstar Ricky Bobby is at the top of his game; adored by fans, a trophy wife by his side, and incredible wealth. But Ricky loses it all when French Formula One champion Jean Girard, roars onto the scene.

So glad you enjoyed this movie. I'm a huge NASCAR fan and also a raging progressive. I always feel like I need to make that disclaimer. I did want to bullet point a few things. - NASCAR has become so much more inclusive now then it ever has been. So many more women driver, drivers of color, non-christian drivers, and several gay drivers. - Auto racing is also the only popular professional sport in which competitors of any gender can complete against each other on the track at the same time. - There have been a few formula one drivers come over to NASCAR in the recent years and none of them have had real success. In fact formula one champ, Jenson Button, recently raced at Circuit of the Americas in Texas in a NASCAR stock car and commented that single race felt like an entire F1 season. He struggled in the car and almost passed out and nearly gaveup mid-race. - In 2009 at a real race at Talladega, a driver crashed on the last lap and then pulled a Ricky Bobby.
