Christine and I made it to Tallulah Gorge State Park last week. We saw your video and added it to our "bucket list". It was worth it. We did not go to the gorge floor, but did do all of the steps to the suspension bridge as well as the North and South rim trails. Also did some lite offroading in the National Forrest. Again, a good trip.

Tallulah Gorge SP is one of our favorites. There’s lots of hiking in the area, other state parks are nearby, so it easy to stay busy. The campground is decent, but on the smaller size. We have a Momentum 349M (39’) and one turn getting in is tight. I wouldn’t try a bigger 5th wheel in there. We’ve always stayed in a pull thru site and have had room after that one turn. The hike down to the gorge floor and back up was very challenging. I’d rate it up there with a boot camp activity. But we did it and high fived when we got back up the other side.

We LOVE Tullulah gorge and the entire North Georgia Area! Probably, because that is where we are from. The swinging bridge is amazing. You are right it can be very confusing trying to navigate the trails in that area. You have many intersecting trails to follow including the Appalachian Trail and the Benton MacKaye trail which is nearly 300 miles in it's self. We are a new channel and would love to show you guys around our area. Safe travels!

You were in our neck of the woods at Panther Creek SP. We live at Cherokee Lake. The trails at Panther Creek are ones to easily get lost on. It wasn't Covid, they just seemed to be pretty laid back there. We did it one time, pre-Covid, after a heavy rain, so it was a muddy mess. We had to use the AllTrails app to get us back on the trail. You crack me up with the bear spray. 🐻 We've hiked with them numerous times in East Tennessee. They aren't interested in you and great to watch and photograph.

Every time you guys see a place we haven’t been it seems like a little bit of heaven! Tennessee looks amazing! You didn’t show the valve stems on Lucille, so you may already know this, but the next time you have your tires done on the bike, make sure you have them install 90 degree valve stems. I have them on my Harley Road Glide and they make checking tire pressures so much easier.

Happy to see Chad’s parents are active and appear to be loving life. I’m not sure if you have already covered in a previous episode but would love to learn what planning you had to make prior to the rv lifestyle. My wife and I are of similar age and both work full time. We are becoming empty nesters and not sure whether we downsize and reduce our many possessions. Option one; go on several long trips while keeping most of what we have. Option two or phase two; sell house and purchase a smaller less costly home to maintain a home base with some reduced possessions. Option three or phase 3; sell everything and take to the road. I understand everyone will have a different plan but curious how your journey started and progressed.

Hey guys, you really have a lot of fun adventures. Some of your situations remind us when we were your age. We’ve just begun the process of changing from a class a MH to fifth wheel (a GD Solitude) and I picked up the truck last night. A red Ram 3500 Longhorn dually. Coincidentally, the discussion with Debbie on the drive home lead to naming the truck “Lucille”. I just realized your bike has the same name. Just wondering, what is the inspiration for giving your bike that particular name? Ours was the movie “Cool Hand Luke”. Lol. Safe and happy travels! Ken & Debbie

Our Lucile inspiration came from the Walking Dead.. 😳
