I'd say this is more like a win to fly, since you get immune to attacks while flying and just one normal attack would KO snorlax, so it would be 7 flies and 1 normal attack. Also, Brave bird isn't as easy to use.

So are underestimating the power of brave bird+aerial ace+boosted attack(resets aerial ace)+aerial ace I dont think it will take more than 2 brave bird combos to kill and i agree with your point that it is jot easy to use but i actually mastered it easily you just have to see where the opponent is moving its so easy just do practice and also fly is not gonna be a better escape option with a huge cooldown if it doesn't hits. I hope you got the point now its a different thing if you are not in masters because its gonna be hard to master it and i suggest using fly till veteran because brave bird is really tougj to use at that stage

Fly has good damage, the invincible thing, and less cooldown, but it doesn't have that much mobility, it's very predictable, (kinda like dragonite unite, but at least you can move with fly) and you will often find yourself in a bad position when using it. Brave Bird on the other hand has less damage and an insignificant recoil, but offensively it's faster to use, has a very good surprise factor, and the aerial ace combo obliterates almost anything, so you can be more useful to your team and you put yourself in less risky positions, and when escaping it puts a lot of distance between you and your enemy in a second. And to be honest, i have much better steals with BB than fly
