11 years later and it’s still an amazing tutorial. Using this for my new talos models.

10 years on, you're still doing the Haemonculus's work with this guide.

I like the way you handled the Cronos tentacles/arms.

Such a difficult kit to magnetise. Thanks for coming up with the "easiest" method

Just finished doing my model and thanks for this guide! A couple tricks that helped me: 1. My 2x1 magnets were pretty weak so I used 3x2 for the torso & waist joint 2. Mark the ends of your magnet so you know the polarity is correct. I spent more time taking out and flipping than anything else. 3. I drilled all my holes and the set my magnets, made it go a lot faster and important to have polarity marked by then! 4. Make sure your 2x1 magnets are strong! Mine were weak and the whole model feels a little unsteady right now.

Great help! I was stumped at the arms, LOVE your way of doing it!

Thank you for this! I always find it so hard to figure out what only has one vital piece included in the kit, and what doubles up... until it's already glued somewhere! Great tip on the ball joint too.

Look forward to seeing them panted. I have two old school pain engines that I use on the table. Mod a Eldar heavy weapons platforms into a cronos before the model came out.

Purchased fantasy models to mod for Grotesques. So fairly sure had the codex before the minis were available. Luckly not much changed for my list builds. So I was able to addapt from Dark Eldar Second Edition codex. Other than the two pain engines. Also have two old school Lilith and Drazor, and one Vile model from Second Edition. Use the Vile model for my Archon all the time. Back in the day disintegrator cannons could fire a 36" small blast shot at st 7. In 6th edition be nice to have.

Sy, is it cm or inch plz?

Hi, If I mention magnets I meant to say the sizes in mm. Hope this helps. Cheers.
@leslieshafer63436 жыл бұрын
1/16 is equivalent to 2mm, 1/8 is equivalent to 3mm. I say equivalent because these figures are the result of rounding.
