He won but never actually explained how busted talos actually is. In lore in the current Kalpa, world cycle, Lordran convicted the adrea to use their power to craft the world, the Deadra refused and stayed powerful. Before Tiber Septuim the current Kalpa's prime diety Akotosh is powerful but his magic was used to keep the world together and hold back the Daedra. Though for thousa da if years that's why they had deadric incursions and invasions until Tiber became Talos and lit the dragonfires did his power added to theirs stop the Daedra from invading. Hell Martin when he died with the diluted blood of talos, his power called forth and channeled the power of Akotosh to banish Merunes Dagon, but also used Martins essence to permanently light the dragon fires.Talos being the only Divine that had not sacrificed his power in the creation of the world makes him the only benevolent god that has power to rival the forces of Oblivion and through Martin it is clear the other gods use him as a channeling force to put their divine essence into to fight. He's not just more powerful due to having the suns power, but a bunch of gods that hold the very world together investing more power into him.

@@OljeiKhan that’s not an argument against Talos, it’s not his fault the Elder Scrolls universe is as big as it is. The realms of Oblivion and Aetherius take up the major part of reality, and Talos aside from conquering essentially all of Mundus, which holds all mortal life, also took over a realm in Aetherius. It’s like conquering a part of the warp, and I’m sorry but I don’t recall there being a realm in the warp controlled by the Emperor, at least not equivalent to the chaos gods.

First off only the Emperors sword can permanently kill Daemons non of the other things you mentioned can. Based on what your headcanon Talos is still an active being within Elder Scrolls and just like the Emperor of Mankind his work is mostly behind the scenes now. Their are still times Talos clearly acts tho, such as showing up in a Avatar to talk to the Nerevarine. Or giving a blessing to the Hero of Kvatch.

Then theirs the fact that the divines in general prefer working subtly, rather then directly. Then theirs Shor who’s another aspect of the same being that Talos is (Lorkhan) that also prevented the ancient Nord Heroes from being eaten by Alduin. Talos learned CHIM and the truth of the world long before he ascended. Someone who stopped giving a damn wouldn’t work towards the goal of ascending to a station that requires them to give a damn. Your an absolute nut if you think otherwise.

Talos did steal power or at least display power that wasn't his. He only started using the thu'um after Ysmir Wulfarth came to him, guiding him as a crown of storms right on top his head. Then proceeded to slit his own throat after predicting he'd come to odds with Wulfarth due to his plans to negotiate with Vivec. Speaking of slitting his own throat, he killed his lord to usurp him as emperor in the process. Then proceeded to play Wulfarth & Zurin his two closest advisors against each other, so they take each other out, leaving him with the powered mantella to do with as he pleased. Talos was a sly motherfucker. A legend to be sure, but a sly one all the same. Plus killing Talos doesn't unmake reality. He isn't holding reality together. That's Shor & the heart of Shor along with all the earthbones

It's why the heart still couldn't be destroyed at the end of Morrowind & simply disappeared. & the earbones still bind reality together.. Alright, for starters, there's nothing in lore confirming or even suggesting Talos was a Shezarine. But I'll let that be since I too buy into that theory. But a theory is what it is none the less. But what does that have to do with anything tho? He fills a different role as the 9th divine, patron god of man. Not binder of reality. If you've got something in the lore (licenced material) suggesting greater significance than that, I'm happy for you to point me in its direction to read for myself

Talos is letting the empire get all fucked and doing jack shit most of the time despite being able to do "anything he wants" The emperor as a corpse on life support is fighting the chaos, powering the astronomicon, turning people into saints, keeping the webway portal shut and fighting the demons there and when Guilliman was to die he revived him, called morty an asshole that could be saved, called nurgle a pussy and Burned his garden (which is infinite and boundless) and scared him shitless and then proceeded to say that chaos should be aware that he is coming for them. @@matheusrubimdepaoli5409 In Morrowind, it is canonically confirmed that Talos didn't even care about the Empire at that point. His avatar, Wulf, said that it was time for something new to arise. Meanwhile, Imperium of Men have been a stagnant hell for centuries, and it is definitely not a good place to live. There are way greater mortal empires in The Elder Scrolls than anything in Tamriel. You don't even know about Adjacent Planes inhabitants who can perceive beyond 4th dimensions, and many of them use mathematics as weapons (canonically confirmed Hist's 16th mathematic weapons). People here don't understand how overpowered is THE ELDER SCROLLS cosmology.

I’m pretty sure he Mantled Lorkhan, but like Nirn is not wholly tied to Lorkhan otherwise it would’ve been unmade after the gods killed him and tore his heart out. The Thalmor seem to unmake the world by deactivating all the towers, which, so far as I’m aware, has nothing to do with Talos. They want to get rid of all Talos worship because that will totally disempower Talos, and thus deprive the races of men of their patron god. But I still think Talos wins this argument cause Elder scrolls is vastly superior to warhammer

The emperor gets such a bad rap. "Guuh bad dad" christ is it not enough he was trying to juggle being some god level powerhouse that's leading the entire human race spanning the galaxy while also making massive galaxy changing technologies and was only struck down because of his love for his son prevented him from going all out straight off the bat. Only truly going all out when he callously killed a mortal man. showing how he *despite him being above us lowly mere mortals* had enough love for his fellow man to the slay his favourite son. The emperor is a chad and even subjected himself to an eternity of torment so mankind can have a shot at travelling the stars. Did he fuck up? yeah man sometimes. The problem with the Emperor of Mankind is that they keep power scaling him so much that his mistakes are that much more glaring. He's this mast psyker that even the Eldar bow to and is the greatest mind in all fields of science. But when it comes to galactic travel, he looked at the system that's essentially a port-o-potty lighthouse that guides ships through hell and, "yeah, that's good enough." He couldn't do any better? He couldn't reverse engineer the Eldars tech or bargain or negotiate for it? He had a Primarch who could literally improve any technology he looked at, and instead of enlisting his help, he sent him to go fight some worm monsters?

I will say you can Argue Talos is the better ruler in how he treats people. However in terms of power based on feats the Emperor bodies Talos by far, you have to go to vague statements like the star being a infinite universe to make him be competitive and then if we go thay way the Emperor destroyed 1/4 or Nurgle's realm an Infinite realm of Chaos. So we can scale the Emperor far higher based on vague statements as well.

One thing to keep in mind is that Talos has achieved chim, understanding reality is a dream. In the Elder Scrolls, chim makes you effectively omnipotent so long as you don't erase yourself from reality. You become a lucid dreamer, capable of bending reality to your will however you see fit. Talos could not only remove the Emperor from reality, he could make so he never existed in the first place

Alright I looked into it again (I forgor chim lore and unfogor it) it's ugh a bit complicated thanks to the warp and chim, because both of those aspects of the respective lores was written when the writers were high on every drug before they died. This will be purely a power thing, I ain't getting into statesmanship, at that point I might as well make this a google doc I then link lmao In short the Emperor and Chim Talos would have about the same attack potency. Both having fucking outerversal tier feats and shit, one via Chim and godhood the other via the warp just deleting reality because it's the fucking warp and it's an outerversal realm in of itself. This fucks with the idea of infinity, since infinity is stupidly beneath and non existent compared to outerversal shit. Since the warp and chim stuff can do similar stuff especially considering the emperor DID delete Horus out of existence Talos scaling to characters with immeasurable speeds (it's god shit I don't want to go too into it) while the Emperor has massively FTL speeds due to him beating the shit out of a large chunk of a C'tan who is DEFINETLY faster than a random ass drained Nightbringer shard that moved like 7K light years in a few months but that's ass compared to Talos. Though this is a bit irrelevant as Chim would likely make Talos partially Omnipresent, as chim makes Talos aware of the fact he lives in a dream and partially kinda becomes one with reality I think, Chim is fucking confusing. The vs battle wiki says the same about the Big E but they don't explain it, I guess he'd be partially omnipresent in the warp since he'd probably have a similar experience in the warp as a chim god thing. Now the warp fucks with the entire chim thing since the warp seems to be outside of reality, which fucks with the entire being one with reality thing it's bizzare. So a chim being might have a C'tan moment and have a weakness to it. Of course the emperor is stupidly slower than the mf but there's no reason why he couldn't teleport him to the warp if he actually knew sensed like a sliver of what Talos can do via like omnidirectional warp thing or just focusing on him and teleporting him there. Which makes everything go to shit. Since I have no fucking clue how Chim will work on the lore where mind you where the Big E would stronger thanks to his big ass soul. So there's 2 scenarios you guys can decide 1. Chim still works like some fucking anti warp shit and the speed difference between really fest compared to immeasurable speed would lead to Talos beating the Big E 2. Chim gets at least partially fucked since it's dependent on being IN reality and going outside of it would do such a thing while the Big E gets stronger AND Talos might also have a C'tan issue where he's weaker to the warp. With the Big E having a track record of killing a similar ish beings since the C'tan also seem to be tied to reality fully and him beating a large chunk of oneleading to the Big E winning I have clue this time A correction from the last thing between space marines and spartan 2s: I was comparing later on Spartan 2s to regular first born with worse equipment meaning likely the Primaris marines would be faster, their weapons would be about the same. Also I missed 2 feats about the Spartan 2s putting them at hypersonic+ also what I mentioned is incredibly limited equipment that most won't have access to. So it might be an on par thing? Since I wouldn't be against the primaris being put at hypersonic + since they have better equipment and are faster and stronger so ugh. I'll give an edge to the spartan 2s because they have equipment that can occasionally get that's better than the highest end space marine weapons and the nano machines healing them. In melee they'd be on par Also Talos allowing the Thalmor to exist when he can try to make them cease to be is a disgrace
