5 years ago the word Islam ment terrorism to me. Im 38 white male from London and feel im part of a split generation. Many of my childhood friends now talk like thay grew up in NYC, mandem this an fam that. I never adopted that vocabulary along with only a few others my age. I'm about your age, it's NEVER too late to learn more about Islam brother, All you need to do is pick up a Qur'an or even go online and read the Qur'an cover to cover like you'd read any book , it will completely change your life, you don't have to trust me, simply check revert stories and you'll realize that some of them have never met a Muslim in their lives, invitation to Islam is done in many ways and isn't necessarily people inviting you to it.. from the Qur'an itself to the call to prayer (it's announced from loud speakers in Muslim countries) all are forms of invitation to the worship of the one true God , the God of Abraham , Moses , Jesus and Mohammad May God's peace and love be upon them all... John17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. ... notice the use of thee(Singular) and ONLY for exclusivity and Jesus PBUH being sent from the almighty as a messenger... in Islam Jesus PBUH is a revered prophet and a messenger and his actions seem to be congruent with Islam ...
