What means being a G?
@cyclonejane
@cyclonejane Жыл бұрын
@@victorportugal3541 In this context, a “G” is someone admirable, someone you respect because he has proven his worth to the world. A “G” is a man that other men can respect. “G” can also be used just as a friendly greeting, one man to another. But when you say someone “is a G,” you are paying a high compliment. If a man calls a woman a “G,” it means he respects the woman for her intelligence, knowledge, or another admirable personal quality, but it has nothing to do with her sexuality or physical appearance. Andrew, for example, respected Queen Elizabeth II and called her a “G.” He has also called Katie Hopkins a “G.”

Mike was seriously challenging Andrew here. In pounds, they went straight from the 45lb. bar to 205 for eight. Then 225 for eight, 255 for six and finally 275 for four. I was a NASM certified personal trainer for a couple years in a past life, and I just want to say that *very* few dudes under 200lbs. can bench 275 for a single rep much less for half a dozen clean reps. Andrew is strong as hell. I guarantee Mike will remember this workout for a long time.

It was surprising to me at first, but it makes sense after thinking about it. When I was doing a lot of boxing training (tons of cardio and repetition with no weights,) I improved my bench by like 30 pounds in 4 months. I was doing 195 max's despite not touching the bench press. A punch is very similar to a bench press. It's kinda like farmer strength. A ton of strength built up over years.
