I went from a Tama Iron cobra jr. Double pedal, single chain (for years) to a Dyna-Sync single pedal. The difference was super night and day. I can play more powerful and faster. And the learning curve took me about 2hrs to understand the feeling of the Dyna-Sync. I’ll never go back to a chain drive pedal. I’m now debating if i should’ve gotten the dyna-sync double pedal 🥴😮‍💨

@@francisfernandezcappola Arghh, I just returned them. Felt and played awesome!!! Made far too much noise and had lots of play un hinge and direct drive joints... think I got sent floor stock... total buzz kill. Have you noticed an increase in pedal vibrationa and mechanical volume? Pedal felt.like it was in tension and amplified its creak.and.clanks over the acoustic drums and vdrum head phones.

@@Usama_hordam well, first remove tension, use some oil or chain grease (chain paste), then don't use heavy beaters and 3rd switch the pedal shaft, stay tunned for my next video on how i upgrade my dyna-sync pedal.

Look forward to the video, I have read alot about this modification, personally the slave lag wasn't noticeable at 180pbm whoch is my max, firstime playing doubl in 15 years. At this stage I'm just concerned about the mechanical volume and amplification. It made the experience unenjoyable. Hopefully tama have an insight to my delimea. Thx .

Love your review! Is the beater made out of a softer felt? Or is it just the shape that helps reduce the impact?

These dyna sync beaters looks like the old school beaters but they are good. Why have Tama design a beater like this? Because the stiffness of pedal is so big that this beater helps to reduce it. Does it make sense to you?? Please don't forget to subscribe.

Thank you for the reply! I'm actually just wondering about how hard the felt is on the head of the beater. I play jazz and the felt on my current beater is so hard that it buzzes when I bury the beater on a tight bass drum, so I'm looking for something softer

Less effort and speed is what I am after - the benchmark I want to get as close to is the Trick pro1v but I don’t want to spend £1200. So am looking at either the dyna sync or the pearl demon xr doubles

Correct!! The idea is to develop twin feet. There are educators who say that we must have a strong foot and a guiding foot, I don't agree with that. I use same tension and same settings on both sides.

I've seen other tricks to balance my double pedal like pulling the beaters back or pushing the beaters forward and then watch if they stop at the same time and go at the same speed, but I can clearly feel that my left pedal is way too tight and the right one doesnt have a quick enough pull back when I try it. What do you think about that trick ?

I really don't like Axis, and never tried Kopyto, but i can tell you for sure Dyna-Sync it's the best pedal i've tried. And let me do things i never done. Really easy to control

Usas pedalera Dyna Sync Para zurdos verdad?... Soy baterista zurdo y compré una línea económica (PDP402L) para comenzar. El problema es que incluso el single pedal es muy tieso y lento así que estoy buscando una mejor opción de doble pedal zurdo de mejor categoría. Entre el DW 9000 y el Tama Dyna Sync cuál me recomiendas? Gracias!

I realized that direct drive pedals are much better than chain pedals, so for sure i will choose Dyna Sync.

What are your pedal settings? I have just bought one, but my slave pedal stops after 5 secs and main pedal after 7 secs

Coil with maximum tension. Beater angle slightly close to the bass drum. That's all!!

Im hesitant on spending the money because the drive shaft has no visible upgrades, that in my opinion is the weak point on these pedals

@pinchebrew 2 things: 1 - @tamadrums is 50 years old next year so big things will happen. 2 - Buy the Dyna-Sync, sell the drive shaft and buy the one from Trick Drums. It's PERFECT.
